Great food in a quite little place, quaint vibes with music upbeat going while you sit. Inside seating or to go. Would definitely go again for this price point! Very quick as well.

I go here often after work as a pick up place; I understand that most people here are drunk and etc but I’ve ordered here 10+ times and every time they always forget a add on or two. What really threw me off today was the service; usually I’m okay with everything but if there are 3+ people waiting to pick up orders and the group of 3+ people just debating what to order can we just tell them to wait and hand the others their orders? Am I the crazy one? I literally waited 10 minutes before I said “hi could the people picking up just get orders real quick” which literally took 30 seconds to deal. I let the other two drivers receive their orders first before I got mine when mine wasn’t complete. So far I can say they skimped out on 20$+. Is it worth it at this late of a night. Yes. Are they taking advantage of you? Yes. Just after today I’m not going back; yes this is just one customer your losing but I’m sure there are lots of people like me and there are more places we can support in austin other than here xx

This was one of my favorite ramen spots when I lived here but I haven’t been here in like 3 years. I came to meet an old friend and we ended up sitting for hours. The staff member who took our order was so friendly and accommodating and even offered us an app since we had been sitting for so long.
I love the Sapporo bowls here. Tried the pork belly and that was really good. Wish I had Michi back home where I live now.

Would not recommend. Great service, kind host but the food isn't great, atmosphere isn't inviting.
Ramen - noodles are hard with no flavor, sauce is flavor less (there are options for light/reg/stout(heavy soup). I got regular and felt very light. Pork wasent as lean as most chasu, didn't work well with the ramen.
Prefer Tatsuya and Marufuku for authentic quality ramen.

Food was well priced and good portion for buy one get one free, but I received my broccoli rotting in the core. I wouldn't even eat this in my own kitchen, a restaurant should be double and triple checking these kinds of things.... I understand we came late, but if they treat late people like this, I dont want it.

The food is really good and worth the price. The chasu pork belly was amazing and the portion size was good.

Dirty environment and unkept filthy restrooms.
Ramen broth tasted like it was dumped with salt water.
Tried so many ramen places ranging from Shibuya Japan , Houston, Los Angeles and Seattle , this is the worst ramen I ever tasted.
Do not recommend and will not return.

Wow. Hate to see it but this place fell off. Used to love it, I even would sometimes come here over tatsuya. But after last night never again. Broth was flavorless and watered down, we put stout aswell. I remember it being so rich and flavorful. The chashu was probably the worst bit. It was either old chashu they reheated or they cooked it wayyyyy too long. It was hard and chewy and not soft and melt in your mouth like it should. We paid 2 dollars for an extra egg. They only give you half for 2 dollars. Shouldn't it be a full egg plus the half they already give you? This place once was so good and could compete with other places. But now its just trash.

As far as service goes…. It felt like we were inconveniencing the person who was working. She lets us know very rudely “I am by myself doing everything!” And when asked about a dish she made it seem like we were stupid for asking a question.
The food overall was just fine. But the service and the atmosphere were such a disappointment.
I hope they find someone to help that person out!

Very bland from the noodles, to broth nothing tastes authentic. The toppings didn’t even help. Disappointing.

We wanted to like this place. It’s a hole in the wall, it smells. But I travel all over and ate at some awesome hole in the walls. We order, sit down. Our apps come out and as soon as they did we were swarmed with flies. It’s like the followed the food out of the kitchen. About 6 of them landing on our kimchi and chicken. Couldn’t even eat those after that. We moved tables, but still swatting flies. Now the ramen, was excellent, but almost $50 for 2 bowls of soup, 2 sides we couldn’t eat due to the flies all over it. All they could say was sorry. If they had that many flies in the front of the house, I could only imagine how many they had in the back. Stay away from this place, I shoulda called the health department at that moment. But I tried to be nice, them seeing us swatting, and not eating the sides. Goto JINYA, it’s cleaner, doesn’t smell like they have dead bodies in the back. No ac on top of it all, o work in the sun all day with no ac, nothing like going into a fly infested hot business. Wonder how many flies were in our food??? Thanks for everything, you could have did right. But didn’t. Apologies doesn’t put the money back in my pocket. No wonder the place was dead empty. I fully understand.

We went around 945-10pm. A few people were there. It’s BYOB if you want.
The veggie broth had a pinch of spice. The noodles didn’t have a particular taste to me (they’re clear), but the broth brought all the flavor.
Michi had a flavorful broth and soft sliced pork belly. The broth was creamy.
They have free water you can drink. You can purchase cans of coke, tea and other drinks.
Great music (80s hits), dim lighting and a quiet atmosphere.
