We had an awesome lunch from Midway Dogs, a Chicago-style food truck that absolutely delivers on flavor and authenticity. The Chicago dogs were spot on—delicious, perfectly made, and just like you’d expect from the Windy City.
On top of the great food, we had the pleasure of chatting with the co-owners, Bonita and James. They’re incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. It felt more like catching up with friends than ordering lunch.
Can’t wait to go back for more amazing food and conversation. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving a true taste of Chicago!

We usually drive by and being from the Chicago area we figured we'd give it a try. As other reviews have mentioned, the hotdog was overcooked... seemed to be microwaved. I bought 3 that day and they were all the same. The buns were hard. The hotdogs looked like Chicago dogs, but they didn't taste like Vienna dogs. Not worth the money. $8 for a hot dog, double the price of Portillo's or Al's. I was expecting a very good Chicago hotdog for that price, but I was disappointed.
Such great customer service and delicious authentic Chicago dogs! I was thrilled to see a vegan dog on the menu and was not disappointed. We felt like we had picked up Portillo‘s on the way home for lunch!

Amazing hot dogs! Every time I take my dog Brisket to the watering bowl, I can’t help but snack on a Chicago dog and fries, or maybe a pizza puff. They use the authentic Vienna brand products for authenticity and the seasoned fries are crazy good. This time around they were testing out some buffalo wings and they were delicious!
Pro tip: they are located in the parking lot of the most dog friendly bar in South Austin, so don’t forget to order a dog-dog for your fur baby while there.

Tried this tasteful joint on a Thursday for lunch. Took my mom who knows the Chicago dishes since she grew up there. I bought each of us a beef sandwich and shared a Polish sausage made Chicago way along with crinkle fries. The fries were hot, crispy on the outside with a fluffy in the inside. The Polish dog was on point. Beef sandwich was great, bread brought it together. I only tried 1/4 of it while we ate at the picnic bench. Took the remaining home. Air fryer it and it held up. Owner is very friendly and a lovely. Takes pride of her joint. Had an awesome conversation about Jim's and Maxwell iykyk. I'm looking forward to the pork chop sandwich!

I had a Chicago dog, and my dog had the Dog dog! My Chicago dog had a bright acidity, warm smoky beef, and a sweetness that had notes of kindness, devotion, and wisdom! In other words, you'll taste love in every bite. My dog ate their Dog dog in less than 10 seconds. Safe to say we both really enjoyed it!
