We loved the shangri la roll. The flavors of the different fishes were so beautifully layered. The angels whisper had some spice to it, but it was good. It would have been my favorite had I not had the Shangri roll. The restaurant was cozy and had a great ambience with soft music playing. Our server was very quick and accommodating. Highly recommend
I had an amazing experience at Mikado. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and welcoming throughout my entire visit. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh, beautifully presented sushi that exceeded my expectations. To top it all off, the staff surprised me with a complimentary slice of cake for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful and kind gesture. This place truly goes above and beyond to make their customers feel special. I can't wait to return!
Great find for me and a sushi loving grown daughter. The most authentic sushi experience I have found in Austin. I've lived and worked in Japan and feel very comfortable recommending Mikado Ryotei to get that same hospitality and customer experience.
