This was the first time I've been to this restaurant, and I had the Salmon Curry bowl.

The salmon was flavorful but overcooked as it was pretty firm.

The roasted vegetables and curry soup were delicious.

I visited this restaurant today to pick up a food order. When I walked in, one of the employees didn’t acknowledge me. I told her the name for the order, and she responded briefly but didn’t assist further. Instead, she kept cleaning the counter with a visibly cold and unwelcoming attitude.

After waiting for about 3 minutes, I noticed a stapled bag and asked if that was my order. She suddenly raised her voice and said, “You can't touch that bag!”—even though I didn't.

Her reaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and unprofessional. The whole interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

I truly don’t understand how someone can treat customers this way.

I eat here every day. That should tell you something.

Modern Market on Congress just hits different. The food’s clean, it tastes fresh, and it’s not trying to be overly fancy or fake healthy. It’s just real. Real ingredients, real portions, real flavor. I usually grab one of the bowls Lemongrass Tuna or the Blackened Chicken Mango are my go-to’s but honestly, you can’t really miss here.

The people working here are cool too. No fake customer service smiles they’re just chill, helpful, and they keep things moving. I’ve been coming here every day, and not once have I had a bad experience. That says a lot.

It’s rare to find a spot downtown that’s consistent, quick, and actually makes you feel better after you eat. This place does all three. Respect.

Divine. I walked in and had a hard time ordering because all the options sounded delicious. A gentleman (fellow customer) shared some of his favorites that increased my desire to choose one of everything. I ended up ordering the blackened chicken salad, the tomato basil soup, and the garlic mushroom pizza (i hadn't eaten lunch hardly, and I have a big appetite). A friend of mine ordered the honey hot pizza and I also tried a slice of that heavenly pie. An exquisite meal at a reasonable price. Happy soul and satisfied appetite. I don't live here, and I'm now a repeat customer. Thank you Modern Market Eatery for a memorable experience with my friends!

Was not expecting to find a healthy place to eat and stumbled here. Now I will eat at all there locations across America. Had pesto chicken sandwich and Bacon Kam Club. They were great sandwich. Great service, nice , clean place to eat.

Every time I come here I feel like I’m doing my body a favor. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful and the customer service is wonderful (and quick!). They are so friendly and take a lot of pride in their food! I would highly recommend Modern Market Eatery!
