Today we stopped in and had a cup of coffee and some deli food. We had the Honduras coffee , hummus avo toast and the green goddess sandwich. It was absolutely amazing! I would definitely recommend stopping in and giving this place a try. The people there are just wonderful and welcoming. We love this place.

This place is awesome. I work at a clinic close to here and we make it a point to support local, queer friendly business. Everything is delicious and the staff is super friendly, even when we have an order of like 26 drinks.

Staff is super kind and helpful. 🫀 They need a toaster oven to heat pastries though. No one wants a microwaved quiche 🙃

The monkey nest special reloaded sandwich is THE BEST SANDWICH ive had in so long.
A bit of a wait, literally worth every second of waiting for an amazing meal. Coffee is fun and unique! They have a specific tang to their cold brew and regular espresso that is a fun experience! a little on the pricier side, but so worth it!

Ordered a piece of banana bread and cold crew. Banana bread was cold and leaden, “cold brew” was actually just refrigerated day-old coffee and disgusting. On top of that, it took 20 minutes to get my order and the shop was not busy.

Great spot to cozy up w a friend or book. Seemed like great community hang out. I enjoyed a hummus bento and the scones (cinnamon and chocolate chip) were delicious. I had an iced horchata, which was a little sweet for my liking- but I’ll definitely stop by here again.

composed on a comfy, not stinky, couch. there’s absolutely zero doubts in my lil head that monkey nest is str8 up the best coffee shop in atx. best behind the counter people. best coffee. best menu. normal (not ironic. not hipster) clientele. best location. i’ve been to ALL coffee place in 512. fr. this is bestest. homeboy gave me horchata gratis, just cuz i asked about it. it’s bumper sticker worth. go here. always.

There was a random coffee shop in North Austin far away from the rest of our tourist things that has the most exquisite liquid blended espresso chocolate or vanilla shake. This thing is blended for so long, it is a perfect liquid with zero ice pieces that you can drink with a tiny straw. Packed with bold espresso and thick chocolate ice cream, it is the best drink for a drive back to Houston. No one blends like this. Why don't we have this in Houston :( alas.
