Out of towner who picked this restaurant from other reviews. The atmosphere was fun and a true pub vibe. Our waiter was "sales-ish" and we felt rushed with ordering. Did not communicate what was unavailable before ordering. Food quality was fair; burgers overcooked. Price and quality not equal.
We're huge fans of Murray's, the food is always amazing, and their bar program is far superior to everything else in the neighborhood. It's a place we consistently choose to come back to. The management is so kind and personable, and the staff has always been so lovely and welcoming. The interior has such a cozy, New York tavern style feel with dark wood and a large bar.
This was my first time at Murray's Tavern and I really had a great time. The ambience was super cozy and gave off an elevated European pub feel. Something was going on with the lights during my visit where they kept flashing constantly and going from dim to very bright which was a little distracting but not a buzz kill. The service was great and very attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and the waitress decided to comp our dessert which was so thoughtful. Food was good,...
