ABSOLUTELY NOT!! First of all what classifies this place as a museum? No tour guides or information about ice cream at all. It’s $45 for 3 stations of ice cream with very limited flavors. After you get the makeshift briefing from the staff at the entrance say goodBYE to any interaction, information, or anything else you would Expect when you go to a museum from the staff because outside of the servers at the booths they are non existent. As far as the ice cream…….. get the pink vanilla all the rest 🤢. Did I mention this was $45? The entire walkthrough takes 6 minutes if you stop and spell your name with the children’s magnetic letters and stair at the bananas hanging from the ceiling (idk wtf that was about 🤷🏾‍♂️). Overall I say save yourself $40 and go to baskin robins or better yet McDonald’s if their ice cream machine is operating properly.

Taking my out-of-town aunt and cousins was absolutely the right decision as we had an absolute blast! This place offers a zany, fun, and undeniably delicious experience that's nothing short of an unforgettable culinary adventure. Bring a child, an appetite, and get ready to dive into a whimsical world filled with twinkling lights, floating bananas, mirrors, games, and even a "sprinkle pool" that's as magical as it sounds. And of course, you'll be treated to all the ice cream you can savor in one visit. Bon appétit!

I visited the Museum of Ice Cream at The Domain, and unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The ticket cost was extremely high—$125 for four people—and did not deliver on value. There were only two stations serving ice cream, with long lines managed by a single server at each. This made it frustrating enough to skip the experience entirely.

The ice cream itself was disappointing, with bland flavors and subpar quality—especially considering The Domain is home to premium dessert spots like Frost. The installations felt more like a children's playground than an interactive museum for all ages.

With all due respect, this felt like the biggest rip-off. I cannot recommend it for adults and won’t be visiting again.

First time to the Museum of Ice Cream and it was enjoyable. Wonderful fun staff, great photo opp areas, decorated & whimsical. Only thing I would recommend is upgrading a variety of options for ice cream. Yes, although unlimited, we were presented with maybe 12 different flavors including vegan & gelato options. The cotton candy & dippin dots were a nice addition. Souvenirs were great! At the end there is a dessert bar that offers desserts & drinks for an extra cost. Definitely an experience & something to at least visit once! Highly recommended!

We visited the museum with 6 people ranging in age from 10-78. We all enjoyed our time but also agreed we wished it was larger/longer. We took our time and spent about an hour there. The ice cream was tasty but not phenomenal, the rooms were fun, and the play areas were probably better suited for kids under age 10. If you want a little more bang for your buck at a place nearby, I would recommend the Museum of Illusions. One positive aspect is that they had dairy free options at every station, but they weren't forthcoming about it, so you need to ask. This place is a great outing for a special occasion or something fun and different. The branding was some of the best I've seen, but the price point seemed a bit high for what you get.

I thought it was kind of expensive, the tickets were 35 not 24 like it showed on google. But we had a lot of fun since the kids are little and like stuff like the sprinkle ball pit and slide

I loved getting a treat in every room! Lots of opportunity for photos (wish I’d have taken more). There were a lot of kids there, but adults can definitely have a good time too. While I wouldn’t say this is a place you’d revisit unless you have children, this was such a neat stop for my B-day trip to Austin. Make sure to purchase tickets online. They are not sold any other way, and you could wait in line if the times slots are sold out.

We had a great time here!! $21 per ticket wasn't bad.... and the ice cream was good too. Only issue i encountered was ONE of the employees didn't really have a personality. He didnt smile nor did he look like he even wanted to give us ice cream. Maybe this isn't the right place for him to work idk. Maybe he had other stuff going on 🤔 All the others were kind and helpful. Overall,
Im satisfied with my experience!! ❤️
I will go back.
