First time visiting this little hidden gem that serves “Fire roasted chicken” & “Grilled skirt steak”. Jose was the server/cook. He’s pretty much got the spot fully set up to bring in a good outdoor picnic atmosphere. I will most likely visit here again & want to share my experience.
-Currently offers:
Rotisserie style chicken, Carne Asada (beef skirt steak) or combination.
•You can choose to either get a half a pound of meat & 1 hot link that can feed 1-2 people for about $15.00
•Or a full pound of meat & 2 links that can feed around (2-3 people) depending on the appetite for $25.00
•I ordered the combination that came with (1/2)lb chicken; (1/2)lb beef; 2 links (1 with cheese & the other w/o cheese); side of Spanish rice & charro beans; with toppings of grilled jalapeño, grilled onion, salsa & handful of tortillas. This was more than enough for my friend & I to have left overs.
•Key notes (as of June 2024):
-CASH PREFERRED! The only other method accepted is Zelle so it is easier to pay cash. No other form of payment is set up at this time.
-There is no menu currently up but this is what I was offered as mentioned above. I’m sure with time they may update prices & add on other items but this is what was available to me at this time of post
-Hours from what I was told, they could update hours in the near future but this what it is as of now:
Closed: Monday- Thursday
Friday: 5:00pm-10:00pm
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00pm-8:00pm
-Located next to the Texaco gas station, you will have park at the gas station then walk by the car wash. You can get your drinks in Texaco & visit the ATM machine inside if needed.
- If you do eat outside, it will be hot but that’s Texas weather for you. Maybe they can install fans to help but not a deal breaker to eat here.
