Came here for lunch and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the lunch bento, which had generous portions and was very filling. Service was great, and the interior was beautiful. We also ordered the yuzu cake, which was excellent. Prices were fair for lunch, though I’m not sure how they compare at dinner. Overall, I would definitely come again.

Excellent sushi! Far exceeded my expectations for a quick lunch between appointments. Super fresh, quick and friendly service, and very nice ambiance. The lunch specials were great. It was $16 for two veggie rolls, a miso soup and salad. I really wish there were more sushi places of this caliber in Austin! I will be back!!

The sushi here is really good and definitely worth the visit. The atmosphere, however, could use some improvement. The music is mostly slow instrumental piano versions of songs, which doesn’t really match the lively or trendy feel you’d expect in a sushi spot. A more upbeat playlist would make a big difference.

The main dining area also comes across a bit like a cafeteria with bright lights, but the sushi bar area has a much better vibe. With a few tweaks to the music and atmosphere, this place could easily go from good to really great!!!

Great little sushi spot off 2222. Our server, Brandon was very friendly and gave great service. Usually the restaurant is very nice and quiet. Their sushi and desserts are amazing 😋🍣!

Would recommend having one of their chef specials if you’re dining with a group. The Aska special is equally delicious and filling. Love the tiramisu, best I’ve ever had.

We got the calamari which was bland and needed salt in the batter. We also had the red velvet roll and fire station and they were supposed to be spicy but were not. The spider tempura roll was just ok, the only decent one was the shaggy dog. Overall didn’t like the food and don’t plan to return. Wanted to try a place other than our typical go to place which is Sushi Moto.

Nabe Sushi on RM2222 in the northwest corner of Austin is one of those few places where I would rate six stars if possible. My experience here was outstanding. The level of culinary creativity is a notch above any sushi restaurant I’ve ever visited. Everything was fresh as if it was swimming yesterday. Service was fully attentive, friendly, and prompt. The decor here is a dark base of wood furniture and dividers which contrasts with the window walls and colorful lamp balls, the aesthetics of which lend to a very pleasant atmosphere. I started with the Jalapeño Crunch Avocado Ball which has a delightful contrast of textures and flavors, including crab meat and goat cheese - m’wah! Next up was the Tango Mango Roll. I pretty much enjoy anything with mango and this did not disappoint. My next adventure was the We Need Protein Roll which features a thin layer of Wagyu beef on top; OMG, an absolute pleasure. All of this went down with Black Tea and a bottle of Sake. What a way to welcome myself to Austin, Texas. Highly recommended.

We did a huge takeout order for a low-key, at-home birthday dinner. They labeled the rolls for us! So yummy- as always.

Ate here when it first opened a few months ago. Sushi was good. Since then it's gone completely downhill quality wise.
Ordered an assortment of sashimi yesterday and it was horrendous.
- Salmon was stale and tasted like it was made in a plastic factory.
- Tuna was fishy, texture was like pulp - yuk
- Rolls were stale and just poorly prep'd
It's easy to see how most restaurants go out of business within a yr or 2
That's it. Not again.
