Well first what i really like :
-Very Clean joint
-They do make you feel that the burger is premium. ( way they wrap it, the care for the patties, all the cooking process )
-The fries are definitely very good if you like the tallow taste.

What i didnt find exceptional :
the burger. Well it is good, but not that good. I had way better in Austin, and even the new place in Georgetown for real smash burgers.

Overall OK. but not sure i will be back

Easily one of the top 3 burgers I've ever had. Idle Hands had great music going and the burger came out hot and fast.

Best smash burger in Austin! Hands down. Holy hell, I've been dreaming about it every day since I went last week. They just absolutely nailed it. The cheese thr crispy patties the perfect blend of pickles and sauses. And the fries were crazy good too. A smoky ketchup and the creaminess ice cream were the icing on the cake. Go here for sure!!

Great spot if you want under age drinking! Didn’t even ID

Stopped by to see what all the hubbub was about with this newer burger joint. Inside was a bit small, but overall clean and a nice vibe. I ordered the NADC burger and a side of their fries. Wow, 22 dollars!
The burger was fresh and made to order and I enjoyed it. Nothing extraordinary, but good. The fries were tasty and came out hot as well. I do appreciate that they use beef tallow to fry their potatoes. Definitely refreshing to see, over those harmful seed oils.
Unfortunately, I can't justify spending so much on a burger and fries.
Will I be back anytime soon? Not a d**n chance!

Burger was very juicy, the vinegar jalapenos & pickles were spot on, the bun was soft & toasty, the fries were savory and had a nice crunch to it, plus the ketchup was seasoned. (*realized is was blurry so no photo of burger lol) We definitely would be coming back. Now traffic/parking on Rainey St. is not ideal but whatever. Drinks are sold separately at the bar, luckily they did have soda and we were able to find a table outside to view the game. Atmosphere of this place definitely hit the spot!

I know it’s in the name, but not making a grilled cheese for an 18 mo.old child was not cool. When they asked me for a tip I said Not a Damn Chance!

No signage aside from a tiny menu outside of Idle Hands. I finally found the counter to order and the guy working register was so rude and unwelcoming. Burger was good. Fries had hair on them, ruined my appetite.

I love this place! The menu is simple, and you either like burgers, or don’t go here.

Get a burger, get some fries, head to the bar for a drink. Don’t overthink it. Life should be simple and fun, and in this case, delicious. Enjoy time with whatever company you’ve brought with you.

I only marked atmosphere as 4, because I prefer quiet places, but this bar is fun and spacious.
