Unless you know where to look, excellent Indian cuisine isn’t easy to find in Southwest Austin. The good news is that Namaste Austin is one of those excellent places. One of the reasons we love this place so much is because each dish is freshly prepared to order. They have several classic dishes such as Tikka Masala, Paneer Masala, Butter Chicken, and their Garlic Naan is so good it makes you question why you don’t eat there more often. Also nice is that you chose the spice-level for all dishes, perfect for families with differing palettes. It’s worth mentioning that Namaste Austin has made special dishes for me in the past, so if they don’t have something you’re looking for, just ask. Last time I ordered Coconut Curry with Chicken and it was delicious. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, I highly recommend you try Namaste Austin next time you are around Hamilton Pool.

We got bhel puri and it was extremely salty and lots of lemon. It was inedible. I called them to complain and the communication wasn’t great. They called back and offered to replace the dish but we cannot make the drive again. We have had their chole on the past and that too wasn’t good at all. I hope they improve their recipes. Would love to encourage more Indian food businesses in the area but don’t want to compromise on the taste
