This was an interesting Chinese Food experience. I walked here from TCH Austin (Texas Card House Austin) and brought it back to eat on a side table while playing poker on the Austin Poker Crawl. I always eat the Wonton Soup first and that was pretty good. The Lo Mein was average or maybe slightly above average. The Sesame Chicken with White Rice was definitely the highlight of the meal. However, a friend of mine ordered from here later in the day and he thought the food was average until he reheated it the next day and said it was amazing. My conclusion (only based on one visit) is that you need to know what to order for the best experience, and based on a trusted friend's opinion, you will be pleased if you reheat it for a second serving. Therefore, I suggest you order more than usual for the reheat. The dude working there on a Sunday (I assume the owner) was really cool, and the vibe of the restaurant itself seemed authentic and comfortable. The prices are a little high though. A very solid choice for Chinese Food in Austin. And it's a no-brainer if you're playing poker next door.

The egg drop soup was bland and tasted like pure vegetable oil. Gross. Directly in the trash. Grocery store egg rolls from a box are better. The shrimp and vegetables were totally bland. Even after adding salt & pepper, it sucked. The fried rice was ok but still bland. Do these people not try the food? First try for us. Never ever going back. Don't waste $50 like I did

This place use to be Nanking and it was AMAZING! Years ago it changed to what it is now and the food quality was so poor we stopped coming here. Fast forward to now, we decided to try again. Ordered sesame chicken, sauce is good, chicken very dry and more breading than chicken. Upgraded to fried rice and it was literally brown rice, that's it. Not fried or seasoning lol. Just brown. Veggie egg rolls were absolutely disgusting!!! Costco brand maybe? But so soggy inside and a bitter flavor. Very gross. Next was the crab Rangoon, which they should RENAME to cream cheese wonton because there's was NO CRAB and staight up cream cheese in a fried shell. This was enough to finalize our choice to never ever return. We tried. Amy's Chinese in cedar Park is our usual go to ever since this place took a dive. Really miss the old place that was here. The gentleman up front is very friendly. But since I'm paying for food I need the quality of the food to match the friendliness of the place too lol...

We often visit for dinner on week nights. Very friendly wait staff. Fast service. Usually get the wonton soup, hot & sour soup, cheese Rangoons, combination fried rice, chicken 2 style, and/or the sesame chicken. All fresh, hot and very tasty.

Excellent all around. Most Chinese restaurants hardly put any sauce on their entrees but Xing Long puts the perfect amount. Veggies cooked to perfection. Consistently good.

So Ive been out here in Austin, Texas for about 3 years now and I tried a few Chinese restaurants out here and NOTHING compares to this place. The lo mein reminds me of California Chinese food. Just the right size of noodle let alone portion ?. The BBQ fried rice is another favorite! So much food for a great price and really nice cashier. Check them out and make sure you're hungry or ready for leftovers ☺️
