Always delicious and a quiet lovely place for a casual date night. Absolutely addicted to the chicken tikka in all forms

A Truly Disappointing Experience
We were really looking forward to trying Nasha in South Austin, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in the city.
We started with the garlic naan, which had no salt or flavor whatsoever—completely flat and bland. Hoping the entrees would redeem the meal, we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala (medium spice), but it was equally disappointing. It had no real spice, no depth of flavor, and tasted almost watered down. It felt like they completely forgot to season it.
We also ordered a fresh lime soda, and it was honestly undrinkable. It had no sugar, no balance, just a bitter, sour mess.
Despite voicing some of our concerns, we ended up leaving most of the food untouched. The only redeeming part of the visit was that the service was quick and the server was polite and attentive, but sadly, good service can’t make up for such poor food quality.
We’ve tried a lot of Indian fusion and traditional spots in Austin, but this was by far the worst meal we’ve had. Definitely won’t be returning.

Flavors are decent, a little overpriced for the portion sizes

Exceptional place!
Great service and DELICIOUS food! Do not miss the $5 margaritas all day on Monday's and half price appetizers on happy hour! Heck yes! I paid $10 for a house margarita and veg samosas!
Definitely coming back!

Way overpriced for the mediocre service, atmosphere, and food quality. When we got there, loud Mexican music from the kitchen was playing and to make things worse, the TV over the bar was playing the movie Fatal Attraction. Not exactly appetizing when you’re forced to watch the infamous bunny-boiling scene during dinner.
When we asked for a to-go box, the blonde bartender woman didn’t bother boxing up our food; instead, she tossed out a half plate of our uneaten carne asada, despite very clearly asking for a to-go box and even making the “box shape” to her. When we asked if the box was coming, she apologized and said she already threw away the food. Maybe she was just tired but it was disappointing for us to pay that much to eat only half of it and have it thrown away. She seemed more interested in chatting with her construction-worker friends at the bar.
Overall disappointing and unprofessional, not family-friendly. I first went to the east side location 10 years ago and raved to everyone I knew about it. I even took my 80-year-old dad there. I will not be coming back to either locations due to the sloppy service and decline in food quality. The chicken tikka masala was way too fatty and caused heartburn as well- something I’ve never experienced in all my years of eating Indian food. Save yourself the trouble and find a better Indian food place.

Overly priced for Indian food.
Ordered takeout on the way home. Got Enchiladas and Burrito both with Paneer. While the burrito tasted really good, the enchiladas were doughy and not really flavorful.
Originally requested for chilli relleno with paneer and they mentioned it cannot be accommodated.
Overall half of the order was good and half was not.

First time eating at Nasha and I gotta tell you it was delicious. I wasn’t sure what to get so the waitress recommended the lunch special which comes with a bit of everything as you can see on the picture. Everything was full of flavor very well worth it!

I am very picky when it comes to Indian and Mexican food. But this place definitely knows how to balance it. It was amazing. I recommend trying the enchiladas with lamb.

I love this restaurant! Lots of vegetarian options, fast service, customized spice levels and a really cute restaurant!
Wanted to order grilled chicken, was told to wait 20 min, then I just ordered something else, portion is very little definitely the recipe also. Not so authentic. This is Indian want to be Mexican food!

It's a classic Indian food restaurant but a significant portion of the menu is Indian/Tex-Mex fusion that keeps us coming back again and again!
We hope to try their Thali someday, too, but haven't been here on one of the days they offer that yet. But it sounds great.
