Have always loved NWD'S sandwiches. Just got their Fries. Wow! Best in town, Period.

Beef Tallow makes them delicious!

(EDIT): it appears I’ve rage baited the owner which was not my intent. It was awkward when me and my friend got sandwiches and one was $18 and the other was $12, and we had to ask the cashier if their pricing scheme was correct or if they mischarged us. I have screenshots to back it up.

The pricing is very confusing and is probably due for an update. A Cubano is $12 while a turkey club $18, 50% more expensive despite being pretty much the exact same size. Food and atmosphere were fine but the pricing made for a confusing and awkward experience.

A great spot for a deli sandwich. The Cuban was a do again. The smoked ham and swiss was great as well, and nailed my order. The jazz combo was great.

New World Deli is one of my all time favorite Austin stops. After living in Austin for a decade and moving away, I miss and crave their sandwiches. I love their Avocado Rachel (and equally delicious Reuben). The atmosphere is cozy and the owners and staff are really friendly. Can't wait for my next trip back!

NeWorlDeli has some of the best sandwiches in Austin (and they have gluten-free bread)!

Nothing special. Ppl were nice but took 20 mins to get my order . Wasnt that busy and ppl who arrived 15 mins after me got their order. I ordered a meatball sub and was told it was one of the more difficult sandwiches that took longer. Mmmm. Not my first rodeo.

This is a really good sandwich cafe in Austin. It’s a casual counter service place with reliably good food. It’s very normal and down to earth and not trying to play a gimmick or whatever other weird corporate thing every Austin restaurant does these days. The employees aren’t overly friendly, and they leave you alone after you’ve gotten your food (which I love). Sometimes they have music, which has been good every time I’ve caught it, but I usually go during the slower afternoon hours. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it’s a little expensive for what it is, which kinda sucks, but everything is these days so it’s not like that’s a unique problem.

I had a gluten-free turkey pastrami sandwich, which I didn’t even know as possible. The food were definitely isn’t as bright when you’re gluten-free so I really appreciated this experience. I was feeling extra so I got some sweet potato fries which were gluten-free as well. Overall chefs kiss. 💋 I definitely woke up like a balloon, but I presume that was due to the sodium content in my choice.
