Great dive bar vibes . Solid night out

A difficult review because we have been here before and had a brilliant time and loved the food, drinks and service. Unfortunately tonight this was not the case. My partner is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids, so loud environments such as bars can be tricky for his hearing. When ordering at the bar the bartender took offense that he felt my partner had raised his voice. He told us as such, asked him not to shout and moved on to serve someone else. I entirely appreciate these nuances can get lost when working in a loud and choatic environment and after he served the other customer my partner apologised to him and tried to explain that no offense was meant. The bartender suggested we all move on which we really appreciated, and I attempted to explain that he wore hearing aids and that is where the confusion had come from, but the bartender cut me off and said if I wanted to keep talking about it he wouldn't serve us at all.At this point I felt that there was no willingness to accommodate my partner's disability and there wasn't any scope for tolerance so we left. It's such a shame because we previously loved going there, but I can't accept giving patron to a business that discriminates in such a manner. I appreciate it's hard to get inclusivity always right, but this was just uncompromisingly wrong.

This dive bar is one of my favorites in Austin. 10/10 drinks and their burgers absolutely slap.

I've been here twice. My first experience was much better than today's. The bartender today was pretty douchey. He was damn rude and then the dude outside was a fucking idiot. Some guy reading a book that needs to take some etiquette classes. Not sure if I'll be back; there are much better places than this with friendlier staff.

So glad we found this place! We were next door getting our car washed and the owner of the car wash recommended we go across the street to get a drink while we waited. The vibe in this pace was so cool. A friend that was with us said that the place felt like something from a movie scene. The bartender was very nice. I had the frozen Irish coffee. It was SO good!! I love souvenirs and the was excited to keep my cup. We will definitely be stopping there next time we are in Austin!

A great neighborhood dive bar. Great for grabbing drinks with friends after work, and in general a great chill, low key weekday spot (and fun on weekends too). They have amazing deals, probably the cheapest drinks in Austin. Reminds me of Midwest prices, but in Austin. And their food truck is one of the best. And one of the only places in the city to get coney dogs. However, giving a them three stars because the bar tenders can be rude. Other people have mentioned this, and it's very true. They don't feel the need to be nice to you, they have enough customers due to the cheap prices and good vibe, so they can and often will be rude and get away with it.

This was an awesome recommendation from my local buddy. The cocktails are inventive, the service quick, and the people friendly. I wish we had more local spots like this where we live.

This is a fun neighborhood bar where you can get your drink on and order food from the food trailer. They bring it inside for you as well as supply the menu. A selection of various kinds of food. My friend and I got the spicy shrimp which is deep fried and covered in a tasty buffalo wing sauce. They also have burgers including an impossible burger and a bunch of other choices. The staff is super chill and friendly. The wooden bar must be at least 100 years old. It's quite spectacular! There's some history for sure. Lively crowd so the noise level is more of voices but they were playing some awesome funk music that could've been pumped up more but you can hear someone without having to yell. There's an outside patio with seating as well as inside at tables or at the bar.
