We've eaten here a number of times. Normally a good experience. This one was a bit of a miss. Mainly service related. Took over 40 minutes to get our pre dinner drinks. Entrees arrived about 10 minutes after appetizers were served, so we had no break between courses. Server brought check about 2 minutes after the dessert was placed in front of us, despite us not requesting it, and us actually planning on after dinner drinks. Then checked back 2 times while we were still eating to see if he could run payment. Can only assume his shift was ending, but it definitely made the whole evening feel rushed.

Very nice ambiance. The service was amazing, our server was so kind and took care of us well. Even when the kitchen would serve our food, they were so kind. Overall, food was great! I feel like there's maybe some better places for the same prices, but does not mean that the food was not exquisite!

Called to request outdoor seating and understood it hasn't been open due to the rain, but when I asked if we could get a table with a view because it's our vow renewal, I was met with yeah we're really busy I can't promise anything. Very dismissive and you could tell she didn't care at all. Once we arrived we were able to be seated outside but the host was rude to our photographer, even though she promised she wouldn't even be standing up taking pictures or using her flash at all. Basically how everyone takes phone on their phone? Yet again, met with annoyance like we were bothering her? Waiter was fine. Just seemed like all the workers didn't want to be there. Oh, and no one said happy anniversary or happy vow renewal or even asked if we wanted dessert. View is great but service was the worst.

Ok, the service I rated it low due to no one attending the reservations desk. I waited a long time. Thankfully Anthony, one of the servers noticed and he gladly took care of me and gave me outstanding service. I will request for him anytime I'm there (which is often).

The short ribs and hamachi are delicious!! We also loved the banana spilt dessert; the combination of the brûléed bananas and the hazelnuts were addicting. I also celebrated my birthday here, and they made me feel so special 🩷

It was honestly the worst experience I've had here. I used to come often because the spot is beautiful, the views of Lady Bird Lake are great, and the sunset from this place is usually amazing. But the staff completely ruined our evening. The person serving us kept pushing us to order everything at once, even after we clearly said we wanted to start with drinks and appetizers first. He wasn't just insisting, he made it feel like he wouldn't even take our order unless we gave him the whole list right away. His attitude was rude from the start, and it put everyone off. We ended up paying only for the drinks and leaving to have dinner somewhere else. I brought friends and their families here, and every one of them felt the same way about how poorly we were treated. I won't visit again, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The outdoor patio at Nido is amazing - and the service and food at Brunch was great. Attentive, but not overly so, and they even have blankets if you are chilly! As they said, "whatever we can do to make your experience amazing". At the bar, Josh did a great job taking care of us - we decided to linger a bit more and they did not disappoint.
