The food was extremely over rated. It’s $15 for a taco, it’s not worth it. I’m not quite sure how this restaurants gets so much hype. My partner and I tried 5 different tacos. The only one we enjoyed was the duck carnitas one. It was really disappointing.

I tried their carrot tostada, tuna tostada, and the enchilada potosina. The tuna tostada was my least favorite. I felt like the fish wasn’t fresh so one bite was enough for me. I ended up leaving the rest at the table. 😭💔 The beans and the tortilla in the enchilada potosina were phenomenal but I feel like they did too much with it. The tortilla and the beans alone reminded me of the tacos rojos back in Mexico. The mountain of cabbage and everything else took away from the dish. I would’ve rather had two or three plain tacos de frijol. Last but not least, the carrot tostada was my favorite that night. It was flavorful and the carrots had the perfect texture.

No frills, amazing tacos and tostada place. I was surprised at first about no pork options, but the daily/ weekly special in combination with the regular menu hits the spot. The duck taco and tuna tostada were so fresh and juicy. Perfect balance of flavors.

I just had the BEST TACO OF MY LIFE! It literally was almost a life changing experience! The duck carnitas tacos are TO DIE FOR!! If you’re coming to Austin, you have to plan on beelining over to Nixta Taqueria and ordering AT LEAST one (but you’ll want more, trust me!) duck carnitas taco! The whole menu is GF, and so amazingly delicious you’ll want to come back again and again!

Chef Edgar knows what he's doing! Everything is made in-house and you can truly taste the difference. Staff is super nice and knowledgeable. Must orders: duck carnitas taco, tuna tostada, chips & dips app.
Bad: Flies all over that even sat on the food despite running the fan. They make you wait in the sun for the privilege of ordering (but only one party in at a time). Tacos are great but definitely not worth $10 a piece.

Great spot and Fantastic food! The duck fat carnitas tacos were just spectacular. Everything else was very good and flavourful as well. Had slight trouble parking and found it slightly expensive but the food was worth it.

I was worried this was going to be an overhyped tourist trap but NO! This was so delicious. We got a ton of different tacos, the salsa alone was delicious. We waited about 45 minutes outside but less than 3 minutes once we sat down
