We came here to celebrate our anniversary and had such a wonderful experience! The food and service were both excellent, and the ambiance was spot on. Don’t let the tucked-away location fool you, once you walk in, it feels special right away

We came here for our 14th wedding anniversary. I have been a vegan for 4 years and I was happy to find this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I didn’t have to ask which food is vegan. The place itself was very cozy. We didn’t have a reservation but they gladly gave us a table for two. We were served by this wonderful and sweet person named Michael. He made sure we were enjoying our stay. He was very friendly and had a nice smile. He made us feel welcome and we immediately felt at home. We ordered the cauliflower and ramen. It was delicious. Whenever we visit a new restaurant, we remember the food and forget about the people who served it to us. Michael made our experience unforgettable. He gave me a rose before we left when he learned it was our anniversary. Thank you Michael! - Ella & Jess

Made reservations for my birthday dinner here, and arrived to a happy birthday note on our table. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We ordered Shiitake Gyoza, Vegetable Tempura, Tofu Katsu Curry, Lions Mane Steak, and Austin Maki Roll. All were perfectly delicious. For drinks, we enjoyed a Berry Mule, a Gin & Tonic, and a Pink Flamingo, which was particularly festive! The menu is unique and creative, going above and beyond standard vegan fare. Next time we're in Austin, we will come back for their Sunday brunch especially for the Okonomiyaki pancake (which is rarely seen at Japanese restaurants in the USA.)

It was my friend's and I first time at Nori and were we so pleased with the service, the atmosphere and the vegan food! I'm vegan and my friend are not but they wanted to try Nori and said their food was absolutely delicious! We are looking forward to visiting again. We also received outstanding customer service from our server who was so attentive and welcoming, I really wish I remembered their name but they had the septum and cool hair cut, we also received an amazing welcome from the Hostess Allison! As a local vegan who is constatngly searching for warm, fancy, ambiance Nori was perfect! Including the music!

Saw this while driving by and couldnt resist trying it. Could not be more impressed. Everything was delicious, the vibes were ON, and our server Ellie could not have been more chill. I accidentally interrupted her while she was busy taking someone's order (I felt bad) and she was very understanding and came over right away to help me out when she was done and she was so nice and super funny and also had a good aura.

The food was so good. Even my picky ahh 8 year old ate the whole plate and said she loved it. Literally has never happened before. I too consumed the entirety of my meal. We live out of state but I will very likely be spending several thousand dollars a month on plane tickets now that I am a casual Nori enjoyer.

My family and I have been big fans of nori since it opened. We get food from here regularly and since the beginning it has consistently delivered deliciousness. I never get bored and the food is always fresh and delicious! As a vegetarian I am so happy Nori is in Austin. When it first opened, we went and it was wonderful to see the owner so diligently asking for feedback and making sure everyone was heard. You could tell there’s a lot of heart in this restaurant and also a lot of health!

Wow! This vegan sushi restaurant was amazing! It’s rare when you find vegan restaurants that are giving you everything you expect from a high end restaurant. Every bite was a party in my mouth! I drank sake but I sat at the bar and witnessed all the beautiful cocktails coming out! Both desserts were amazing as well. (Yes we ordered both). Will be back!

The food was tasty and well-seasoned! Even the broth for the ramen had flavor. My non-vegan family thoroughly enjoyed their meals and my son ordered a second roll. If it wasn’t an hour away, I’d go back. I had the Yakisoba and tried my daughter’s ramen. Also ordered the cauliflower wings and got dessert. I don’t remember which sushi rolls they ordered. Everything looked so good and a reservation is a must. This place is popular!

We love Nori! We usually come for special occasions because they truly honor them and we feel the love and the outstanding service. The food was excellent as usual, I highly recommend the chikn bao in the HH items! Thank you for being awesome, Nori. Cheers!

Spider roll was not the best imo, but waitress gave discount and was chill. Shoutout to the lovely lady. Awesome bathrooms btw. Tables too close.

We went to Nori for the first time for a drag brunch. Not sure if it's a typical experience. But we had a great time. Our server was amazing, the food was delicious, and everybody seemed to be having a wonderful time. We will be going back for dinner sometime soon to get a more typical experience there as well.
