So tasty! Loved the food here. The shiitake roll was my favorite. The mushroom ceviche was also quite fun, though I wish the mushroom to vegetable ratio was a little higher for extra meatiness. We had a black bean brownie for dessert which was also very tasty. And there is a nice selection of mocktails which is always appreciated!

A group of 5 of us went to Nori the other day. Food was excellent. Service was impeccable, Christopher was our server, and he was amazing. Menu is 100% vegetarian, and food was just so delicious. Rainbow maki was my favorite. Can’t wait to go back there again.I gave 4 stars for “atmosphere” because it did get a little loud once the place got packed and was hard to have a conversation. Other than that, 10/10 highly recommend Nori for sushi! (Posted April 2024)

Absolutely amazing! Loved this. The nigiri platter was epic and the tomato looked like fresh tuna which was wild! Loved the appetizer we had and the rolls are so good! Service was great.

I was expecting and hoping to like Nori more than I did. I often eat vegan so the concept was not new to me, but I was a little underwhelmed by the food. The chick’n karaage and gyozas were very tasty, and the rolls were good but not great. Server was very friendly, but service itself was rushed. Food started coming out before our drinks arrived (a big no-no in my mind) and we were in and out of the restaurant in less than 45 minutes. It was good enough to consider going back if I was a local.

First time visiting. We had 3 cocktails, 2 appetizers, 3 different sushi dishes, and 1 dessert between 3 adults. With a tip it came to $54 each. Not inexpensive but absolutely worth it is a date night or special meal. The food was delicious (the brussel sprouts, Crunchy sushi, and mock cheesecake were amazing), and the service was exceptional. We ate on the patio in high 70's temp and it was very pleasant. Highly recommend!

We dined here first on my birthday and then again with some friends visiting Austin. Incredible food both times. It is definitely a pricier menu than usual, but with great service and ambience. The chicken karage (slightly misleading IMO since it was more like chick’n nuggs than karage) were melt-in-the-mouth delicious, the nigiri platter was excellent and the Sunflower Maki roll that I got was great too. Everyone else also thoroughly enjoyed their rolls (Spicy Tuna, volcano, don’t remember the others but they were all yumm). They have a great coffee martini as well.I look forward to dining here with my vegetarian parents so they can also enjoy a fine dining sushi restaurant.Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegan!

Very unique food. All plant based sushi and Japanese food isn't common.Food was a 4.5/5. I think vegan sushi is hard to do. If you expect something that tastes like a fish substitute you'll be disappointed, but all the flavours of the vegetables really shine and are delicious. I would pass on just egg products because the texture is too mushy for me, but the rest was really good.I recommend trying to get there for happy hour to try their baos. They're only on their happy hour menu.
