I really liked this place, but it's apparently closed permanently. Sad. It had good food you couldn't get elsewhere in Austin. The Beef Stroganoff was our favorite. I wish the owner the best for a promising future.

Great food and great atmosphere!!

The atmosphere is very similar to a fine dining restaurant. However you walk a little further and see an amazing brick oven pizza maker.

One of my favorite business casual restaurants in Austin. Conveniently located on Stonelake Boulevard, parking is super easy and I love the architecture. The interior design is also comfortable and cozy perfect for taking the family in for dinner or meeting clients for a business dinner. The craft beer is tasty so definitely grab one for happy hour. Too many yummy dishes to talk about but I highly recommend the calamari as an appetizer... Perfect texture, soft but not chewy!

We recently had a wonderful appetizer, fresh micro brew beers and delicious entrees at North By Northwest. The service was excellent. We had the Filet Mignon and it was a perfect medium rare, as ordered. Give it a try!

Waited a while to order a drink, fine. Served several other people at the bar that got there after I did because they were louder, waving him down, fine. I get my drink and water, both glasses were filthy. Tomato juice crust on the outside of my water. Some other kind of crust on my martini glass. Left. Won’t be back.

It honestly wasn’t that good at all. My waitress was so busy that it took awhile just to get drinks and an appetizer order in. I had never been here before and asked her what’s usually popular or what’s good to her on the menu and her response every time was that “it’s all good” .... wrong! My Austin Margarita was decent and that’s about all I enjoyed. The food was extremely bland and taste like a $9 plate and not an $18 plate. The appetizer was ok not the best either and my daughters kids cheese pizza taste like cardboard. My son ate his kids cheeseburger and the very small portion of fries that it came with and he was still very hungry. We also ordered the beef braised stroganoff and it taste like a jar of Ragu and plain spaghetti not very much flavor. Was such a waste of $90 we spent on dinner. BJs brewhouse is deff WAY better.

Been a mug club member for nearly ten years and have going to NXNW even longer. My wife and I came for lunch yesterday and it is apparent there are changes abound. Most of the staff we did recognize, and the dress code seems to have changed as well (all in flannel shirts vs the black we're used to seeing) The beer selection shrank a bit as you'd assume due to the south location closure. I had the Zombie Dragon with Guava which was nice and juicy, my wife had what was supposed to be a bourbon barrel aged stout, that tasted more like a dark porter. The food was mostly good aside from the mushroom risotto, that was very bland like water was used instead of broth or some other step was missed.

Green belt pizza and seared scallops were super fresh and tasted awesome. Service was great.
