AC was broke so it was pretty hot, but the food was amazing as usual. Great brisket and amazing sides. Wish they still had the creamed corn. I miss that, but the green beans and Mac and cheese are still solid sides.
I finally stopped by Oakwood BBQ after driving past it for years and I’m so glad I did. I got the 2 meat tray with juicy brisket and sliced sausage, plus mac and cheese and burnt end beans. Everything was incredible. The brisket was tender and flavorful, the mac and cheese was creamy and paired perfectly with the meat, and the beans were packed with flavor.

In town from Denver and excited for Austin BBQ: Oakwood did not disappoint! The smell of oakwood walking in ratchets up the expectations. Got the brisket and mac n cheese. Delicious. AC seemed off but no points off for that, it’s Austin!
