Amazing food. So good. Sauce bar, free ice cream and unlimited miso soup! The noodle bar was fun to pick out and the girl at the front answered all of our questions and is so helpful. Will be coming back! :)

So glad to have found this place! Lots of options, and you get unlimited, miso soup, banchans and sauces with your meal, as well as free soft serve! I believe there's option to get veggies as well.

We got the bento box with spicy pork, and were stuffed! Came with choice of sushi roll, rice, pork, salad, and 2 egg rolls! Will definitely be back!

My girlfriend and I got the mala stir fry, mild with lamb and extra spicy with beef. The mild was way too salty, my girlfriend couldn't continue eating it. The extra spicy did have the numbing mala spice but it didn't taste quite right, there was a tomato flavor to it. The potatoes, carrots, and broccoli were all undercooked, a bit too hard.
The value is really good but I wish the flavors were right.

This place is absolutely fantastic! The food is delicious and the pricing is incredibly reasonable. We tried the jjajang katsu, and the jjajang sauce is probably the best tasting one I’ve had in Austin yet. To top it off, they offer complimentary three types of kimchi, miso soup, and soft serve ice cream! We also got the stirfry, which was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to try their other menu items.

The service was excellent, and the self-serve area is kept super tidy and impeccable. I genuinely loved this place and am glad they adopted this new, fun concept. It’s definitely going to be a regular for us from now on.

We loved Odaku’s sushi before the remodel; the quality, ingredients, price, and service was great. We came back this weekend and the food quality has gone way down and prices went up. We ordered the same 2 rolls we used to and the fish quality was much poorer, the rice was dry; it tasted like grocery store quality sushi. The tempura appetizer also changed (it was my favorite tempura in Austin), the recipe is soggy and thin, and the serving size is much smaller. It was very busy, so maybe the noodle bar is only what they care to focus on for quality. We sadly won’t be back.

We stopped by for an early dinner on a Saturday and noticed the restaurant has been renovated, with a new ordering process where you place your order at the counter instead of at the table. Unfortunately, the overall experience wasn’t as enjoyable as before. The food quality seemed to have declined, with most dishes tasting average. One of our sushi rolls was served warm and had an unusual taste. Service was lacking—we had to get up several times to retrieve our own utensils and napkins. Overall, it was an okay visit, but we’re unlikely to return.

Went here a lot before renovations. Our fav sushi spot. The sushi now is just not good at all. Maybe the added noodle bar is their specialty now. But would not go back. Very disappointed.

Odaku is a Korean-Japanese restaurant that recently renovated. I really enjoyed the food before but now the food and experience is even better!
They've gone from a sit-down to a slightly more casual setting.

They have a brand new menu as well as a separate soup and stir fry bar. Their entrées are very reasonably priced and come in huge portion sizes. I really appreciate the value, especially with eating out getting so expensive. The Jijiang katsu chicken is the best I've had in Austin.

We felt very welcomed by the staff and they were very helpful in explaining their new menu.

Best of all they have complimentary miso soup and an ice cream machine!

Great place to make your own soup bowl or stir-fry with the fresh veggies that you can have unlimited amount of. They also have sushi and other delicious plates.

Ordered Togo and the food was still really good. Favorite is the cold noodles. Korean pancake and tempura were nice and crispy. Sushi was pretty good too. Id definitely try this place again! I had a large order so they offered me free ice cream while I waited. One person I was ordering for is on a specific diet and the team here was very accommodating. Great staff.

The food was great the lady at the cashier so friendly and she explained all the menu, food portion was so generous, they have a plate that you can fill veggies in the bowel and small bowel for beef or seafood ur choice, they also have complementary kimchi and other sauces, and veggies in the side, everything was so fresh and the place was extremely clean and they also have complimentary ice cream machine.

We loved O’Daku before but we love it even more now that the renovations are done and the noodle bar is open! I am addicted to the noodle bar! I love the mushroom broth a lot! Complementary miso soup, kimchi, and ice cream!! 🍦 The kimchi here is FIRE 🔥 Easily one of my top three favorite kimchis. I love the creativity with the menu after the renovations. One of our weekly go to restaurants.

Really nice little space but the food was overall lacking. The katsu curry is extremely watery, the ramen was just okay, and the kimchi pancake had nothing in it at all, not onions or kimchi. It was just a plain red pancake at that point.
