I’ve dined at Odd Duck 3 times. The first time was in 2019 at its previous location, and the three of us liked every dish we shared. The second time was a about 3 years ago at its current location, and the two of us liked the dishes a lot (particularly the vegetarian dishes). I visited the restaurant once more with my family in December 2025, expecting the same delicious food with balanced flavor profiles. No 1 Restaurant in Austin!!
The flavors were wonderfully layered, each bite brought a new surprise, with different tastes unfolding across the palate. Since it’s roughly apple season, apples can be found in almost every dish. Wonderful experience!

Fantastic creative farm to table in chill vibe atmosphere. Sat at chefs counter and saw the action and able to see the tasty dishes. It’s small plates mostly and sharing is encouraged with 4 plates per couple recommended. Hardest part is narrowing down the top four choices as everything was incredible. .
