This place took me back to my childhood, to the things that made me love coffee shops for as long as I can remember. It’s a small, cozy room, covered with art and posters. It’s got an extensive drink menu, and everything on it is sooooo tasty. The baristas are so friendly, always taking the time to chat about your order. And they’re passionate about the espresso they serve, giving every drink care and love. I probably sound like I’m getting paid to write this or someone I know works here or something, but I just popped into this place one day when I found myself needing a caffeine boost, and I couldn’t be more glad that I did.
Loved the patio. Great place to read a book and enjoy a well made coffee

There’s a warmth here that you don’t find at many Austin coffee shops these days.
After being in the city for 12 years, it somehow took me until earlier this year to visit Once Over. Now I’ll go out of my way to pick up a cold brew at least 4 times a week - the coffee is good and the atmosphere is just plain cool, inviting, cool, quirky, and cool. Give Once Over a shot. It’s a special place.

Just peeked in for an iced coffee and to check out the space, and I'm so glad I did. Wonderful neighborhood coffee shop! The gentleman who helped me was super-friendly, and the beverage was on point. Decor is simple but funky with a South Austin chill vibe, and the back patio is really a little hidden gem. I appreciated how cozy the place felt. I look forward to going back with a book. :)
