Nice venue, food (gyro) was super underwhelming.
Ordered the falafel plate. It was lacking in comparison to price vs offering of other Greek restaurants & the falafel was soft on both the inside & out, which is not what I want from falafel. Entertainment was interesting & the overall atmosphere was charming. If you're coming just for coffee & vibes, you will probably have a better overall experience.
Absolutely love the Jazz Jam they host on Tuesdays! It’s been so fun listening to local musicians play classics like Misty and Stella by Starlight. They have some super fun specialty cocktails like the cherry colada, but it is a bit pricy.
Kayla was awesome! Came here after work for a HH had a fabulous time and will come back.
I placed a to-go order. It took forever but it was an open mic night or so like that and the place was busy, good for them.
So I ordered, the hummus, lemon potatoes, a Greek salad, the baked chicken with potatoes, the meatballs and a gyro.
The hummus was a very small portion, I did not get any how it was the main thing my wife wanted I let her have it. The potatoes were not very lemony, the Greek salad had no green leaves was just topping but it did have a huge stick of feta which was nice. This should have been called a cucumber Greek salad. The baked chicken was not bad, the potatoes were the same lemon potatoes that I ordered could have saved my money and been disappointed at this point instead. I got the meatballs for my son, but realizing they were spicy, I have never encountered spicy Greek food without adding a condiment. Ohh the gyro was like deli meat slices, not carved meat. It's tasted ok, if I had to come back would likely get that.
The place was suggested by someone I work with, I told him the disappointment and he said I ordered the wrong stuff. The menu had like 10 items and I thought I hit all the core Greek items.
No plans to return.
I'm a vagabond, highly educated idiot. I want to tell you these people treated me with respect and kindness and that is raret and rarer on this street. The staff was kind and courteous and even respectful to me even though I appear as the ragged pirate I am. I give them mucho respecto for being honestly open to the idea of new customers and new experiences I highly recommend this place if you want to sit in private you can sit outside and a nice shaded picnic table with a fan blowing on you, you can go inside and soak up the AC and read a book if you want to. Places like this are rare and cherish to me. Please continue being cool
Great atmosphere, great place to meetup with friends on the patio. Charming low key spot on south Lamar
Painfully bad falafel, made the rest look good, but it wasn’t. Good place to drop and drink wine outside. Avoid the food.

It's a nice place to hang out with friends, play games and nosh. The food is more Greek-inspired than authentic Greek cuisine. The meatballs are made with Cayenne pepper (?!) and served in something like Hunts tomato sauce.

Cute cafe! Decent coffee and fun events. Their pizza really missed the mark last time, and their pumpkin loaf tasted like dirty fry oil this time. The low quality oil left a terrible taste in my mouth, that impacted the rest of my latte. Please switch to butter, coconut oil, or just a higher quality of oil (to impart better flavor). Lol, I threw the bread away.

Love Opa when you’re craving Greek food or just need a nice coffee or glass of wine. The outdoor patio is anchored by a huge tree and is so cozy when it’s nice out. Inside has plenty of seating and a great place to work, read or have a book club discussion!
