I don't get a chance to stop by Oriental Express very often, but when I do, it never disappoints. The menu has plenty of options, and the serving sizes are generous. The egg drop soup is some of the best I've had, and it comes with a heaping mound of fried wantons on the side. Their prices are very reasonable, especially their lunch specials, which are served with soup and a huge pile of fried rice.

Ordered General Tso for lunch but it took almost 30 mins for my food to be ready taking up half my break. The rice was very soft and mushy and the chicken had little flavor. Under 10 bites in and my stomach started to hurt..

I ordered food via Uber Eats and when it arrived the restaurant forgot to add our eggrolls. I contacted the restaurant only for them to gaslight me and say it must have been a bad driver. You left the eggrolls off the order and had cheap lids that made the sauce waste everywhere. How are you blaming the driver. Never tried to rectify or resolve the issue. I DO NOT recommend this restaurant. We use to order from them all the time and they have went down hill, the food tasted old and they didnt offer a credit or nothing. I am never eating here again and this is not how you treat customers. BAD BUSINESS X100. I wish I could share these photos

We eat here every time we go to Austin. It's the best, and my favorite, ever. One entree feeds me 3 times, as I always get full on their delicious soup and spring roll that comes with the meal. Restaurant is clean and attractive. Staff is friendly and fast. Prices are good too.

Disappointing - Sour Meat I recently ordered the [ Two Combination Fried Rice May 12, 2025] from Oriental Express on Cameron Road and was very disappointed to find that the meat tasted distinctly sour. This indicated it was likely spoiled and made the entire meal inedible. This is a serious food quality issue, and I would caution others when ordering meat dishes from this location. I hope the restaurant takes immediate steps to improve their ingredient freshness and food handling.

Just finished eating dinner here. The food was good! We ordered Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef with Broccoli, and Cashew Chicken. It was enough for 5 adults so the 3 of us have a lot of left overs. Service was great and very friendly. Meals come with soup, egg roll, and wonton chips. I'll probably be back in a week or so.
