Ordered the The Oyako rice bowl, and was HIGHLY disappointed in what I got. It was so dry that I couldn't even eat it. Oyako is NOT supposed to be dry. I've had it countless times and this is the only time I have seen it done so atrociously. The audacity to charge $14.00 for some dry chicken and dry scrambled eggs over plain white rice is outrageous. Oyako is supposed to be moist and the eggs just barely set with a delicious dashi stock poured over the rice that you cook the egg and chicken in. Either the owners don't care or the people making this food don't know what actual Japanese food should be like.
This place is a disgrace to Japanese food and should be embarrassed they are serving food of this low quality. Don't waste your money on this place, there are much better places you go for good homestyle Japanese food.

I really don't think I got what I paid for. I literally got a 17$ small rice bowl with a couple scraps of beef. Please do better.

I am very picky when it comes to rice bowls! But this place here, they welcomed me and they were nice and helpful AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! Will DEFINITELY be trying another bowl!!! 5 stars all around!

The quality have decreased drastically since it was first available on Uber eats. The Oyako rice is now dry chicken with scramble

Should have read the reviews before ordering, paid an extra $3 for bland mushy fried rice then the Kung Pao itself had no flavor and potatoes added so they could be cheap! Who eats potatoes with Kung Pao... Save the $15 and go somewhere else
My boyfriend and I were celebrating our year anniversary and ordered take out for a picnic here, and it helped make our special day perfect! The food is sooo amazing. He got the Beef Rice Bowl and I got the Sweet Chili Shrimp, both 10/10!!!
As others have stated, this place is really not worth the price. There are a ton of options in Austin with better and cheaper dishes similar to Oya Rice Bowl.I was unsatisfied with what I ordered and would not order again. The quality and preparation of the meat here is nothing to write home about.Look elsewhere.

great food!
The rice was good. Not the best orange chicken though, I'm so sorry but it was not good. My bf got the kung Pao chicken and agreed his was also bad. :'/
Great food with good portion sizes. The fried rice is incredible and I will be ordering from here more often.

At first I didn't understand why the avg rating for this place was so low until tonight. They have very poor service and doesn't even understand basic service level agreement. Avoid this place and save your time and money.

Good! I liked the oyako and chicken teriyaki bowls. Right amount of proteins and rice! A little less content with the gyoza.
Highly recommend!!!Ordered six rice bowl all taste great, specially Braised pork meatball it’s perfect taste and as a restaurant owner I know that’s not easy to make.
ordered rice box combo with two entrees (Okaya&Kung Pao Chicken) Panda express got better Kung Pao Chicken than this place’s. The chicken foes not taste fresh, flavor is bland and the meat is dry. Don’t bother with this place.
