This place has a very humble and authentic Thai atmosphere. The basil fried rice with shrimp was out of this world good! Bursting with flavour and depth of spices, it was definitely the best fried rice I've had in Austin yet. The mango sticky rice paled a bit in comparison. The mango was sweet and sour, not like the ones you get year round in Thailand, and I prefer the rice to be a little less mushy. Overall though, it was a delicious meal and I'm definitely going back.

We had a pickup order with a variety of entrees. The pad thai with tofu was delicious with a bit of a smoky flavor - very good. The papaya som tum salad was also quite good with a nice fresh blend of sweet and spice. Also delicious was the gang dang curry.

I enjoyed the chicken Massaman (better than another nearby Thai restaurant) and my husband liked the basil fried rice.

Beware: the menu does not reflect full ingredients.
I recently visited with a party of four and ordered three items. One of the dishes I ordered was a soup that arrived with ingredients not listed on the menu—including tomatoes and bits of onion, even though I had specifically requested no onions. More concerning, one person in my party has a mushroom allergy, and when I asked the server about that ingredient, they confirmed the soup did contain mushrooms—again, not listed anywhere on the menu.
To make matters worse, there was a shift change during our meal, and no server was available when the food arrived. With no one to speak to and having waited a while, I started eating. While the soup was edible, it wasn’t particularly enjoyable, and the presence of unexpected ingredients made it frustrating for the whole table.
There was no meaningful apology—just a suggestion to “let someone know next time.” But who are we supposed to tell when there’s no server around and the food has already been served after a wait?
If the kitchen and menu aren’t aligned, the least the restaurant can do is ensure staff are available to answer questions or address concerns when food arrives. I’m not completely sure I’d like to give this restaurant another try.

Don’t be fooled by its humble appearance—this is an incredibly delicious hidden gem. I honestly think it’s one of the most authentic Thai restaurants in the area. I still remember the first time I came here—it was late at night and this was the only non-fast-food place open. I was blown away by how good it was. Their food has that unmistakable flavor, not something pre-made and reheated. You have to try their fried rice and noodle dishes. If you’re a fan of Thai curry, theirs is rich and flavorful. And whatever you do, don’t skip the mango sticky rice—it’s the best I’ve ever had. The purple sticky rice was a wonderful surprise, and it’s clearly freshly made, not something that’s been sitting in the fridge.

Restaurantji Recommends
It was not as good as Mueller Pad Thai but it was still tasty hot and flavourful. I didn't care for the Dumplings they were bland and if you ever try Mueller theirs are award winning. ( I gave them the award) this locations Gang Garee was very good slightly different it had more cinnamon maybe not sure what the curry blend consists of. All in all it was good and worth the money. They gave me a nice size portion.

We ordered takeout from here and it was so good! Green curry was particularly flavorful. Pad see ew was also really good. Ready super fast, about 10-15 minutes. Highly recommend.
I ordered takeout on a friend’s recommendation. Got the pad thai, pad gra prao, and green curry. Everything was far too sweet for our liking and the pad thai quite sour.

I almost forgot to take pictures. Tastiest Thai I've had in awhile. Fresh and perfectly cooked. I started with what I think of as spring rolls. They were beautifully presented and chilled. The peanut sauce was yummy with a slight sweet taste.
The Tom Yum was perfect. I'll be back
