Ordered the tofu basket (first time on the vegetables menu) and it only came with 2 pieces of tofu. I asked the server if it was on a sizzling hot plate. She said yes. But nope! It came in a bowl. Food didn't taste very good. Vegetable dumpling was meh. Eggplant was too sweet. This is my second time at Paos. I think they got worse or maybe suck at doing vegetarian dishes.
We looooove Pao's! Always fresh food and friendly service. We get the General Tsao's chicken and Beef Flat Noodles. Perfect pairing every time. In addition, they are always so welcoming of our little one which is a nice feeling when eating out in public.
We are big fans of Pao’s!! We’ve been coming for over a year now and the food is always great. We really like the early bird special for dinner so you can get a soup (we like wonton) and an egg roll with your meal. Staff is super friendly and the servers work hard. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem in Lakeway!
