We were invited to a party where Homero was preparing paella. We are long time lovers of paella. This seafood paella was very authentic, and the flavor profiles were perfect!!! Homero did a wonderful job “explaining paella” to the folks that were not familiar with it and its origin. I would give Homero 6-Stars if I could! Great food, great proprietor.

We experienced this great paella at a winery party. The paella is very Spanish, including using real saffron. The people are very personable, and we had a great conversation about how it was made. You will feel like you are in Spain when you eat this paella. This one had chorizo and chicken and snow peas, which I thought was a great addition. Hire these guys for your next party and you won’t be disappointed.

Our experience with Papa Paella was outstanding. Scheduling was easy and the food absolutely incredible. Charlie Daniels had a fiddle and Chef Homer has a paella pan! In addition to being a talented chef, Homer is also extremely friendly and enjoys answering questions and interacting with guests. We will definitely be calling them again for our next event.

Chef Homero’s paella is the real deal. The quality of the rice, seafood, and vegetables is top of the line and the attention he places on the cooking process, including a precisely executed socarrat (the crunchy layer at the bottom of the paellera) is outstanding. I’ve tried many paellas here in the US, Mexico and in its native Spain and Chef Homero’s is right up there with the best of them. World class. Whatever he charges you, just feel lucky that you were able to book him. Bravo Chef! ????

Papa Paella was the best choice I could have made for our company anniversary party! Chef Homero was quick and easy to communicate with, he arrived early and was professional. The food was INCREDIBLE, we had multiple people come back for seconds and thirds. Chef Homero also packed up any leftovers which I really appreciated so we could enjoy it all again. I would absolutely recommend Papa Paella for any event where you need hot, delicious food and an experience!

If you are hosting an event and need a caterer, you can stop looking now. Papa paella is a home run and sure to impress your guests. Starting with the most important, the paella was the best I’ve ever had!! We had chicken, chorizo, and mussels but vegetarian options are also available. Everyone went back for seconds and sometime thirds. What was unexpected was how the meal itself became the focal point of the party. Everyone was fascinated by Chef Garcia as he prepared the paella in front of us in our backyard and made the most beautiful dish I have ever seen. Plus Chef is incredibly personable and loves to share his knowledge of what can only be described of as the art of paella. Our party was relatively small with only about 20 people but I heard him say he has done parties of 500. It seems to me that with Papa Paella you are guaranteed amazing food along with a memorable experience. I am already looking for an excuse to host another party where he can cook for us.
