Great food, great service, fun vibe! Server recommendations were spot on. The brightness of the key lime brioche was the perfect starter. The chicken & biscuit surpassed the craving for fried chicken.

Great food always. We were disappointed they were out of the biscuits but regardless the experience was great. Fav brunch place in Austin

Had a reservation and although the restaurant was packed, we were seated immediately. The food was INCREDIBLE and we can't wait to go back. Highly recommend the migas with carnitas, the cheddar hashbrown, the fresh orange juice, the coffee!!

Amazing food and unique tastes for breakfast. Our server, Brittany topped it off with her pleasant way and timely service. Highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing food with a lovely atmosphere and staff. The poblano & cheddar biscuits are addictive, especially with the jalapeño jam. I am also pretty sure the Earl Grey Cold Brew has ruined my life since I do not live here and have not found anything comparable to it in my area. Very friendly staff, and the dishes are beautiful and delicious. Cheddar hashbrown was also delicious.

Let’s be honest, a 60 min. wait for pancakes that are just ok, not happening. The food consistently middle of the road. But it’s the attitude at the door that’s most annoying. A West Lake restaurant in the heart of Austin, won’t be going back. Ever!

A solid place for a great brunch!

Got the chicken and biscuit and it was delicious. Also got the Texas hash which was a bit of a disappointment, felt like a mush.

Overall service was great, seating was quick and food was also quick to arrive. Good experience for an average price

We went here for brunch on a random Tuesday morning and had a fabulous time. The food was fabulous and the service impeccable!

We tried Paperboy for breakfast and loved it! We had the cheesy hash, huevos rancheros bowl, migas, and a pancake. The hash browns were something different but really good, and the pancake was super fluffy and tasty. The ranchero bowl and migas both had great flavor. Overall, everything was delicious, definitely coming back next time we’re in Austin!

Super cute spot! The staff is cool and friendly. The food was really interesting and tasty. Loved the patio seating. We got the classic breakfast, which was solid. Good portion. Also the empanada and guava poptart. Both crazy good. The pop tart is sweet like a dessert but the tart guava filling is a nice balance. The empanada super tasty and savory. Excellent filling. Can’t wait to come here again and try more menu items!

Finding this place in Austin was a real gem; it’s was a super nice restaurant.
My boyfriend and I had brunch. We didn’t have a reservation, but the hostess save us a table. It took about 20 minutes, but it was worth it because the food was delicious!
My boyfriend ordered a Bloody Mary, mimosas and I had a capuccino.
The atmosphere is super relaxed, and the food is quick. The servers are very friendly attentive. It was an incredible experience; I highly recommend it.

Solid breakfast experience. The presentation was clean and thoughtful — bright eggs, crisp bacon, and toast that hit the right level of crunch. The potato cake stood out: well seasoned, golden, and paired nicely with the sauce underneath. The cheddar grits were rich and creamy, though slightly heavy. Bacon was thick-cut and perfectly crisp, sausage patty flavorful with good sear. Service was efficient and friendly, and the atmosphere matched Austin’s laid-back brunch vibe. The only critique: portion size could be slightly larger for the price, and the toast could use a touch more butter. Overall, Paperboy delivers a balanced, well-prepared breakfast that feels crafted rather than routine. Strong 8/10 — worth revisiting.
