Easy simple menu Really nice people and good food.

Super delicious tacos. They totally have their own thing going on but for reference, I think the place in town it's most similar to is Cuantos. These tacos are bigger and of course a little different. I'll keep going to both places because both are some of the best around!

They offer with or without cheese. I ordered one of each taco and told them to pick which ones get cheese. They all would have been great with it, but also it's nice to take it down to the simple bare flavors of the cheeseless tacos. I'd recommend multiple trips and trying everything both ways.

I only tried tacos, but will work my way through the rest of the menu.

I'll be back.

Incredible tacos!! We had the Al Pastor, nopalitos, suadero, tinga de pollo, and apple agua fresca. Layer of griddled cheese is delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

Excellent tacos and Aguas Frescas. I got a Al pastor, which is only available sometimes and until sold out, and a champiƱones tacos and they were both excellent. I like the verde sauce better than the red, which is pretty spicy.

Heard great reviews online about this place so had to check it out.
I will say these are THE BEST tacos I’ve had in Austin.

I got the bistec torta which was very good, the taste of the steak was very flavorful and a well put together torta in general. I also got the chicken tinga and suadero tacos, which I highly recommend. The tinga was the most flavorful chicken taco I’ve ever had and the suadero was really good as well.
If you’re between which beef taco to get (suadero or bistec) I’d personally choose the suadero.

My gf got a suadero, bistec and carnitas tacos. The carnitas was probably our least favorite of them all but still not bad.

**These aren’t street taco size, street tacos are usually on 3ā€ tortillas and they use 5ā€ tortillas**

We came very late in their hours (Austin traffic and they close at 6 pm) but the staff was very understanding and welcoming; everyone that worked there was so nice. They also informed us they have extended hours at a food truck at a nearby neighborhood bar (if I can find it I’ll come back to update my review).

The price: I want to say it’s more on the expensive side but unfortunately it’s just pretty on par with taco prices in Austin- BUT I will say the quality and flavor are there so these are actually worth it.

It was pretty dark when we arrived but it looked like limited parking.

The second I walked in, the aroma of corn tortillas reminded me of my grandmother's house. The tacos were rich, tasty and simple, flawlessly executed. I tried one of every taco and each one tasted phenomenal. the seasoning was balanced and the meats, cactus and mushroom base was always the star of the dish. The corn tortillas were superb as well.

Lo mejor de lo mejor! Best tacos in the city hands down. The quesitacos de nopalitos y suadero were divine. I'd argue the nopalitos was the best. So smokey, and the tortillas so tender with a delicate bite. Definitely come support!! :)

Just a solid taqueria built on the immigrant story. The focused menu excels and the staff are warm-hearted. A shout-out to them for sharing their story and hosting a good time for the last installment of the Tacos of Texas podcast.

Paprika is an amazing taste of the Austin Taco scene. We actually saw Mando Rayo here! Delicious tacos and the salsas were unparalleled. We had the carnitas and champiƱones, both of these were phenomenal. Definitely recommend eating with the salsa verde if you want a kick.
