4/1/24We dined at around 7:30 P.M., and we enjoyed some very interesting food! Our waiter was very nice and informative. We got a bit intrigued by the salmon egg mayonnaise appetizer, so we ordered it. Although it was 'interesting' to see and try...we had no idea that it was prepared with salmon eggs on top of the devil egged concoction. The burst of salmon egg with the somewhat boiled egg...was not a favorable appetizer. We would NEVER suggest it. 1/10 (the one rating comes from the good mayo)The fish meal on the menu was REALLY GOOD! The buttery sauce that is generously given on the plate the pan-seared fish was placed on top of really made this meal exceptional. The preparation of it was great. I wish there were more food on the plate, though (or that a good bread accompanied it). 10/10 RATING!My dinner friend ordered the pork chops with the cabbage slice. I would rate that pretty low, though. The cabbage slice was grilled, and some of it was grilled too much to enjoy. You MUST TRY THE BEET SALAD!!!! IT IS SOOOO DELICIOUS!!! 10/10 RATING!!The cheese board for a dessert was great, too... The cheese selected and the jelly was delectable. The tea that is used tastes really good. The ART WORK in the restaurant is pretty and joyful to see! Our waiter allowed us to look at the book that was prepared on each artist that has art exhibited in the restaurant. You would enjoy reading about them IF you have the time.

Just had dinner for the first time here, we sat at the chef’s counter and had a great experience. Fun menu and great service in a pretty but comfortable space. Highly recommend.Parking: Small parking lot next to the restaurant with 6-8 spaces. Street parking in the neighborhood.

Ryan was our server. Incredible service and knowledge of food and wine. Completely affable as well as professional. Really couldn't have asked for more. Food was delicious and perfectly portioned with enough options for my pescatarian wife. Wine and cocktail list were both varied and exciting.

Great food, cocktails and service. Dessert was also A+. The space is modern and attractive, good outdoor areas too. Inside, it's extremely loud, a little tough for conversation, but a good experience nonetheless.

The ambiance was amazing but that's it. Food was super salty and not cooked to the proper temperature after 2 tries. Also the serving of ravioli was extremely small. 3 raviolis that were only about a quarter filled. After dropping about $200 after tip for 3 people we still went to another restaurant to get food since no one had a full meal because of the size or because it was undercooked. They did comp the burger.

Pecan Square Cafe is one of our favorite dining spots in downtown Austin. It has a neighborhood feel and everything about it is perfect! We usually choose to sit on the patio, but inside is inviting as well! They make the most perfect cosmo and the food is consistently delicious! The service, from when you are greeted by Nick, the manager to Ryan, the waiter and everyone in between is outstanding! Pecan Square never disappoints!

Loved the ambiance, it's great for a date night with a loved one. The food was great as well, we had pasta (lamb one), fish of the day (highly recommend!) and two desserts. I also like that they change the menu often, I'll def be coming back.

Absolutely delicious and seasonal food. Bar staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Would absolutely go back. Perfect for a date night or dinner with friends decor is chic and ambiance is welcoming and cozy.

Pecan Square is such a lovely corner of Austin! As soon as you come around the corner to enter, you start smelling the fire burning inside, cooking up delicious pizzas and artisan bread. The simply at elegantly designed dining area is bright and fresh, but also has a cozy vibe with authentic wood paneling throughout the restaurant. Our servers were excellent, and we did not feel rushed, even as the restaurant filled up during the lunch hour. It was difficult to decide what to choose from their menu, but we landed on olives and brussels sprouts along with the burger, which was flavorfully crafted with the most delicious burrata cheese. Everything was excellent and unique! I will return next time I'm in Austin.

Fantastic brunch! The homemade sausage and soft scrambled eggs are wonderful. The Grand Marnier crepe is the perfect compliment.

The menu is always changing slightly to fit seasonal produce and locally sourced ingredients and it is consistently so so good. The dishes aren't overly complicated, flavors and quality of ingredients speak for themselves in the best way possible. I've never had a bad item and the cocktails and service are on point too.

They gave our table away, didn't get seated until 8:30, an hour after our reservation. We ordered a $125 bottle of wine and were sold out so they brought us a “comparable” bottle but brought us a $195 bottle. We asked for our food to be boxed and they never brought it
