Overall, a very good experience. service was FANTASTIC. wait staff here is top notch (Alex and Mark!! awesome). unfortunately, my wife got a bad piece of swordfish... after living in Maine for 30 years, i should have said something when i caught a whiff of it as it was served, my bad, but please... that should not have been served! everything else was fantastic. my wife had 2 bites before sending back (no charge). That said, the oysters, the scallops, the cocktails (especially the one that Alex suggested) and the dessert (again suggested by Alex) were absolutely delicious. Thanks Mark for moving my bald head to another table!!

Perla's is an absolute favorite in our family! We came to celebrate my birthday and it was the first time we brought our almost 2 yr old and he had the best time. The staff were exceptionally attentive to him including bringing him a little tasting plate. The food was fantastic per usual (oysters, crab florentine, biscuits, shrimp and grits, and the lobster frittata, and a grilled cheese + fries for our little one). Thank you to the Perla's team for making it the perfect day!

Perla’s was incredible! We were looking for a nicer lunch option on S Congress and this popped up. We are so happy it did! The shrimp po boy was stuffed with shrimp. The waitress was amazing with helping select oysters for each of us. Their desert options were delightful. Highly recommend!
We went to Perla’s on S. Congress for a spur of the moment Sunday brunch and had a great time! The weather was just right, people were out and about, a few had their friendly pups with them so we opted for the outside deck seating. We had a couple of oyster shooters, the fried Okra, shells and cheese and the fried soft shell crab. The best dishes had to be the shells and cheese (velvety, luscious cheese goodness with a buttery, crunchy, bread crumb topping) and the soft shell crab (large, meaty and juicy in Avery good way). The sauce enjoyed the al fresco meal while people watching as they streamed past on the sidewalk. It was a good day and we highly recommend!

Everything was excellent except table right next to the kitchen. Travis the waiter was outstanding. The oysters were perfection...really everything was. Get the seafood tower. The ceviche & calamari so perfect. Truly u can't choose wrong. The chefs know what they're are doing.
