My new favorite burger!!! Drove about an hour one way. They have the best buns and literally every burger I've had from them has been amazing!

The place and playground have definitely gone downhill in the 8 years I’ve gone there; there any other restaurants are better for kids. Even something like Hat Creek has passed it in my opinion. Service is pretty terrible and the food is okay but inconsistent.

I got a build your own turkey burger. It was delicious. I asked for an egg in it and it was cooked exactly how ordered, I’m picky with my eggs. My kids enjoyed their meals as well. They have Mexican Coke which is always a plus. They also have a playground that is shared with the ice cream shop next door. Playground was clean and the kids had fun. Will definitely comeback.

Very disappointed in this place I have always loved the food and have never been kicked out prior to a place closing to stay they are going to clean and had just order food at 9:30. They literally pushed everyone out of the dinning area prior to closing. I brought new folks to try the place and that was a terrible experience. I used to work in the restaurant business and waited tables we did not kick people out prior to the closing time. We understood if folks showed up late and yes it sucks at times but we allow them time to finish there food. But we were literally told we had 10 minutes to eat our food and get out. The manager on duty with pink/red hair also claimed it was Amy's that kicked us out however Amy's closes at 11:30!

We love going to Phil's! Nearly every time my family comes to town, we go to Phil's for lunch. It's dog-friendly with plenty of picnic tables outside (there is also indoor seating). I always get a veggie burger with cheese and mushrooms, and mixed fries (they put the regular fries and sweet potato fries in the same basket, so they do touch but are not all mixed up). It's never disappointed! My dad loves the violet crown burger and is always excited to go to Phil's and get it. You order at a counter inside, then go get your food from the counter when they call out your order is ready. Wait is not too long, especially with the nice atmosphere and playground area for kids to play. My dog loves going to Phil's too because she can sit with us while we eat, and sometimes gets petted by kids (which she loves). Staff are friendly and usually offer water for my dog too.Vegetarian options: They have a great veggie burger party that you can sub in for any burger.Parking: Always plenty of parking, around side and back.

If you have a craving for a burger and fries, look no further. Phil's Icehouse has a wide variety of burger options, all of which can be subbed with a veggie patty and they have tons of side options beyond just fries. I personally love to order "The 78756" burger (veggie patty), the green chili compote and pepper jack cheese is such a delicious combo. And I order with half regular and half sweet potato fries! Phil's is definitely family friendly, with lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a play area outside. Another bonus: plenty of parking in the parking lot!

Phil's is our longtime local burger joint and got us through the pandemic haha. Their burgers are always well made and the sweetness of their thick pillowy hamburger buns really help to make the burger what it is. It's very predictable and doesn't disappoint. We typicallly get the Rosedale, the Violet Crown, or the 78750. You get the choice of regular fries and/or sweet potato fries--very rarely are they soggy but typically seasoned well with a great crisp. Their food is a geeat value for the price. Highly recommend

The service is friendly and respectful, the food is delivered on time and hot, they have even given me free soda while I wait and my children play in the park with the cows while we wait, the atmosphere there is calm and fun as you spend time in family.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly

Large choice of burgers and sandwiches that can be customized to your taste. Also share the seating area with Amy’s Ice Cream.

Slid into Phil's today at the behest of my girlfriend. I did not make it in until nearly 2 pm, so I missed the crowds. There were a couple of people that came through while I was having lunch. Nice relaxed atmosphere with some light 80's music playing in the background. As this was my first time, the staff suggested the 78704 burger, and it not disappoint (avacado, jalapeños, & grilled onions), maybe not for everyone but I loved it (don't yuck my yum). Plus with the huge menu that they boast, you are sure to find something you like. Fries were seasoned perfectly. While I had to go back to work, and opt'd for an iced tea, there were plenty of beer options to choose from. I noticed that Amy's Ice cream was getting a lot of traffic, so once I finished with lunch, I walked through the dining room over to Amy's to investigate. Had I not been full, I would have definitely had a sweet treat to complete the experience, but alas, I will have to wait for my next trip. Definitely going to add this to the lunch rotation. Thanks for the suggestion Cody, you know me so well... One of the many reasons I love you!Parking: Parking on the side and behind the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: In addition to the wide variety of burgers, there are also hot dogs, and corn dogs, easy for the kiddies, and yummy for the kids at heart. There is plenty of outside seating which could easily be taken advantage of on a sunny day like today, and a playscape for the children to burn off a little excess energy. Plus Ice Cream, can't be more kid friendly than that.Wheelchair accessibility: While there are steps to both Phil's and Amy's, there is a concrete ramp as well, making it easy for wheelchair access.
