Phil's Icehouse is a great place to grab a booth or table, hang out, and have a delicious burger. I normally build my own burger. Definitely try out their non-burger options too! They're equally delicious. Make the short walk next door to Amy's and grab a small treat after your meal!

All the food was tasted like it was freshly made, especially the fries..I had the 3 mini burger meal, all three burgers were distinc and well made. They allow you to choose regular fries, sweet potato fries, or both!They let me sample some of the ? before ordering one. They were glad to answer my many questions since I was visiting. Inside the same building is the Amys ice cream which we also tried. The playground was plentiful, large and sturdy.
The food was great, but we went on a Thursday thinking it wouldn't be so crowded and boy were we wrong!
Parking: The parking isn't bad, but it is limited. And the nearby lots all have tow warnings.
Kid-friendliness: It's a great place for kids, but can be a bit overwhelming for kids with sensory disorders

I often hit up Phil's when I'm headed home after a long road trip. It's a quick detour off the highway to get some kickass food. They offer great options for specific dietary needs, like veggie, GF and Keto. I get my burger in a lettuce wrap. The sweet potato fries are the best around if you're into tht sort of thing. Phil's also has a great selection of natural sodas. Grab some Amy's Ice Cream after you stuffed your face with a burger. This place is also ridiculously kid friendly. There's a playground right there so you can chill and dine and let the kids run amok.
Dietary restrictions: They offer keto and veg options
The atmosphere here is very casual and a shared experience with Amy's ice cream. The burgers are always cooked to order and are large and juicy. I recommend the 78704 burger. Great lunch spot.

Fun place for adults and kids, the food seems a little unhealthy but it was tasty. Make sure you like sweet bread if you have the grilled cheese.

I am in Austin visiting for the week, and stumbled upon this place due to it being walking distance from my airbnb. I am so glad we went! The food is so delicious, my kids had the tenders and I had the mini burgers, i got a mini cheeseburger then a mini bacon burger and it was delicious!!! Already visiting for my 2nd time today, as my kids loved it!
Highly recommend, and will always make this place my austin go to burger spot!
