I have been going to this restaurant for years, with never a problem. Four nights ago, I ordered vermicelli bowl w egg rolls.I didn't know I'd end up with a mouth full of plastic, in the middle of the noodles!!!! So I called them, and told them, they can't speak English. Ok, so I got on Google translate, and told them about the vermicelli with a side of plastic, like an HEB bag type plastic. Anyway, I used Google translate, they finally understood. And promised me a refund.NO REFUND CAME! if you are running a restaurant, please learn rudimentary English or use a translator. AND REFUND THE CUSTOMER THAT ALMOST SWALLOWED PLASTIC!!!!

Super fast, friendly, delicious, and it is like they are choreographed when I come in. They know just where I prefer to sit, that I need a fork for my pho noodles, extra bean sprouts/cilantro/thai basil, ice water, a bag when I'm done. They notice if I am not there once a week, and take their time getting to know me. They make people feel special, and are always warm and welcoming. It has been a joy getting to know Thach, Nick, Hal, and An.
Pho Huang is my JAM! Their pho is consistently AMAZING - the perfect fix on a cold day. Don't miss their fresh lemonade and spring rolls, seriously SO GOOD. Can't wait to come back on a hot day for their chilled desserts!

I used to really like this place. It was actually my favorite pho spot once and I used to compare every other Vietnamese restaurant's pho to theirs.I have visited this restaurant for 15 years off and on. I have to say the quality has been on the decline within the last couple years. And I was in disbelief at the quality of pho in my last visit recently...It was bad.The service has suffered too, I have found myself frustrated with the cold, aloof and unfamiliar staff who fumble through orders and are unfriendly. I miss the group of people who worked there about 5 years ago.To wrap this up, this review is really my heavy hearted goodbye to Pho Hoang. Hang in there because one day you'll be good again.
