It had been a while before yesterday that I'd picked up pho from here and I am pleased that we did!!I had some concerns reading recent reviews about customers not receiving their veg bags or the broth tasting flat. I'm in no position to judge pho's authenticity in terms of comparing to what one would eat in Vietnam, but I have had my fair share of pho in the USA with varying levels of satisfaction. My mom and I were each pleased (with the chicken & eye round steak [w/steamed veggies added] phos in particular).Another place that used to be my go-to has had some issues & apparent price hikes lately [Kim Phung N Lamar] so again, Pho-natic did hit the spot this time. And I'd like to commend them for not using styrofoam; the takeout containers are both reusable & recyclable, and not liable to leak in transit.I could always do with more broth than provided but eating from home, I find ways to more easily stretch it out.It definitely didn't feel super tempting to dine in there but that hadn't been my plan anyway -- all tables were available if we had chosen to. We'd called ahead with one question and then I ordered online.*I don't love hanging out in this shopping center anyway, nor is the restaurant's atmosphere particularly cozy or special. There might've been unique stormy Sunday evening/ St Patrick's Day security patrol vibes at play to boot.

This was the best thing I had in Austin. Since this was located in a plaza, plenty of parking available. We ordered chicken phó and brisket bahn mi to go. The pho was great, the soup base was fantastic. I am giving 4.99 stars for the best bahn mi I've had in a while. Oh wow, so so good!

I got the half n half, beef pho with a tofu banh mi. (Pictured is the veggie pho because it had better lighting on the table). The tofu in the banh mi is actually pretty yummy. There was so much sauce in the banh mi it was making a mess and dripping out with every bite. The bread was a bit hard making the sandwich hard to take good "everything" bites from. The beef pho was nothing to write home about unfortunately. The broth tasted weak and underdeveloped. It didn't have distinct flavor and didn't make you want to come back for more pho. The bowl is also quite small and makes it difficult to mix the ingredients together when putting in your sprouts and herbs. The beef was lacking in any flavor at all. In the veggie pho, the baby corn tastes like it came from a can because the center of it has a sort of acidic, odd taste that I found unpleasant... The service was fine! The ambiance looked better online than in person. I didn't think it smelled or looked as clean as it possibly could especially near the area where you pick up sauces, silverware, etc. It smells a little humid and funky probably because that's going near the hallway that leads to the bathroom. Unfortunately, I will most likely will not return.

Pho is mediocre. Not much depth of flavour in the broth, also didn't come with much herbs in the side. Ok portion size. Served very hot which I like. Noodles were a bit overcooked, and the steak came precooked instead of raw in bowl, so it ended up being a bit overcooked. Food came fast though. Maybe come for the rice dishes.

Eat here often. Large portion sizes, fast service, clean dining area and very reasonable prices. Great take out.

This place is not good viet food at all. I got the spicy noodle bowl. It had such a weird flavor I can't even describe it. It wasn't spicy at all and it was $15. Def save ur money for an authentic viet place

I order for pick up and they did not include lime, jalapeños, hoisin, sprouts or sriracha with my pho. There was also hardly any chicken. Didn’t notice until I got him and definitely did it feel like going back. Won’t order from here again.

We ordered the pho. Unless you enjoy eating lukewarm soup with raw old meat in it (soup has to be hot in order to cook the meat) I’d recommend to stay far away from this place. It was so gross and tasteless. Even after we added all the fixings, still gross. Stick to a mom and pop restaurant.

The wonton pho, tacos, tofu, egg rolls, and sliders are a must get. also love their thai tea! we have the best little date night here - all the food was fresh and wonderful, with amazing staff and service to top it off. They are so kind and welcoming ☺️Phonatic is an absolute must while in Austin, and locally and family owned! ✨?
