Love this spot! Appreciate that it’s gluten free and lots of dairy free options

You can stop in just for a beverage or sit down for a whole meal. It’s still not a coffeeshop vibe where you can park yourself with a laptop. Small selection of seating for those just getting beverages.

Staff is friendly and helpful.

I’ve taken friends here and they don’t usually like it as much as I do if they’re not gluten free already. So I would save this spot for your health nut friends.

Great options for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.

Parking is pretty good here but fills up during peak times.

The music was a little bit loud, too loud for my grandpa. Normal for Austin but not ideal for the elderly.

I really want to like this place. The food is amazing, but the service speed is surprisingly slow. Employees everywhere, few customers, and it takes 20min to get a cup of coffee. I really don’t understand. I’ll update this review each time I come in if it changes.

The chicken tasted old/expired. I tasted rancid oil. The mashed potatoes were as much oil as potato, and the total came out to above $100. I think you can get more and better food for half that in a lot of other places. Not sure what the hype is. By the other reviews, looks like it used to be better, but is definitely not now.

Rude front of house...there's a locked front door , WITH NO SIGN ON IT ... I saw multiple people use it, and nobody cares

Something has changed. We have been coming to Picnik for years and something is completely off. The environment and vibe is awkward and the staff seems out of it. The food even tasted different. It was not good and very underwhelming. All 3 people in my party felt bad almost immediately after eating. The food tasted as if something was wrong with it.
I remember the days of long wait times here and I’m not sure how much longer this location will last.

Used to be Great food! Maybe another casualty of COVID. Checkout awkward with default tip higher than customary on top of overpriced food.

We had a wonderful breakfast here for our anniversary! When traveling, we are always looking for gluten free and dairy free for our allergies. Picnik exceeded our expectations with 100% gluten free and many dairy free options. We enjoyed the blueberry pancakes and the farmhouse breakfast with hot green teas!

YUMMY! Everything is gluten and sugar free and made from scratch. It’s delicious! And I’m not even gluten or sugar free! I had the Picnik Mule (also outstanding) and the grilled chicken bowl. I highly recommend it!

Incredibly slow service. Staff more interested in their phones and small talk than putting orders out. This includes the “chef” who was behind the line on his phone and chatting rather than pushing food to the line. Not good.

Really good food, decent price and atmosphere. Gluten free. The thoughtfully crafted gluten-free offerings, such as the French toast and well executed smashed potatoes, are a testament to the kitchen’s attention to detail. I really like the complimentary tap water scene they have on the patio

The best gluten free food I’ve ever had and it’s so relaxing to go and know whatever I order, it’s safe and delicious. We always get the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the cashew queso with sausage!

Love love love! Great food for everyone and snazzy vibes. Went for a friend’s bachelorette brunch, and it did not disappoint. Very good service and the menu options were perfect for my friends with VERY unusual and restrictive allergens. I am not allergic to gluten, so I don’t always love gluten free products when I try them, but Picnik’s food was top tier to any crowd!
