The food was great, but the service was friendly but just okay. At various points throughout the meal, different staff members came to verify some detail of the food or drinks we had yet to receive. While I appreciate that they wanted to get the order right, it’s something that the waiter should’ve checked at the time of the order instead of sending other people to second guess everything.

I think is the best food in Austin. It’s all gluten free and seed oil free. The chicken tenders are the best I have had anywhere. I am also obsessed with the butter coffee.
The staff is so helpful if you need recommendations. Miranda, Callie and Bradley have always been awesome.

I used to be a frequent customer here - I loved their constantly varying menu and seasonal options, the quality ingredients, the serving sizes, the restricted allergens so I didn't have to constantly ask about food contents, the flavor of the food...

But something happened along the way. Someone told me it changed ownership? I don't know or care, but I will say that something definitely turned this gem into just another thoughtless, over-priced bougie eatery with mediocre food, a boring and restrictive menu, inconsistent quality, ever-decreasing serving sizes (ah, the wonders of shrinkflation), and bizarrely uncomfortable chairs.

We've been going here for almost a decade, since it first opened... but now? Meh. It's not worth it anymore unless something changes.

2025:
The burger was kind of mediocre and kind of small for a $20 Burger.

They have some really good food items but some of the food items can be a hit or a miss. (The chicken sand which)

If you order to go please check your items before leaving they, I recently ordered a Cobb salad and they literally forgot the dressing. I understand mistakes happen but this is the second time I’ve gotten pick up order from them with the same meal with a missing item.

Great service makes up for the ok food.
Took a risk and ordered a chicken sandwich breakfast style, the bun was soaked in maple syrup (maybe I should have asked prior to ordering but the menu wasn’t specific about it) so I didn’t enjoy it at all. The sweet potatoes were ok, but $22 for a chicken sandwich (what you see in the picture) that I could barely eat was very disappointing.
The ginger/turmeric juice I ordered prior to my meal was amazing though.

The food was phenomenal when we went this morning. We had the best server! Sarita went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. I have some back problems and she gave me her own personal cardigan to sit on so that I was more comfortable. 10 out of 10 experience, overall cannot recommend enough

Our waiter was very nice. That’s about it. The hostess are just terrible. This is Austin, not NYC or LA and someone needs to pass that memo along. I was having a nice brunch until the hostess passive aggressively asked if there was anything else I was waiting on. What? Come to find out she was telling us to leave because it had been 2 hours and there were people waiting. Ok, of course I get that. I’ve been on the other side of it. But our waiter kept asking if we wanted to order more and we said yes! We were actively ordering food / drinks the entire time. I had NO idea we should have been rushed or there was a time limit. Then I had literally just ordered a latte and was asked to leave 10 mins later? What could have happened is 1. Notify your guests at check in or at the reservation confirmation there is a 90 min window, 2. The waiter could have said he would love to get me a latte but it would have to be in a to go cup ….totally fine! Or 3. The hostess could have come up and said “I am so sorry to disturb your lovely conversation and company. We really need this table, can I get you a fresh latte to go?” … so many things could have happened that didn’t. So very disappointed. I blame management for not training their staff and for hiring people that do not have common decency to treat people better. I attached a photo of all the open reservations that were available at the moment we were asked to leave because of a big wait 😑

I don’t recommend this restaurant if you are wanting to celebrate a friend’s birthday and/or catch up with girlfriends you haven’t seen in a while on a Sunday afternoon. You will be asked to leave once your “time” is up. No one tells you that you only have 90 minutes to eat and the food was slow to come as well (this time limit should be disclosed on the Resy confirmation or upon check in). There is nothing on the reservation that says you have a 90 minute time limit. Also they were out of multiple items on the menu but that is not the reason for the 1 star review. We tipped our waiter well and ordered additional drinks we were still finishing when we were asked to leave because they needed the table. The hostesses that asked us to leave were not nice and could have been more professional instead of beating around the bush to get us to leave like “are you waiting on something?” Or “do you need your check?” If you need the table you can say “hi ladies, how was your meal? I’m so sorry to interrupt your conversation as it looks like you are having a great time, but we really need your table in the next 5-10 minutes for our next reservation. Could I get your drinks to go?” To make it clear- we were still enjoying our tea that we ordered before the check came! I asked her after we got up if there is a certain etiquette we were supposed to know about for how long to keep the table as we’re catching up on my friends birthday and she curtly said “most people stay 90 minutes and you have been here 2 hours.” I told her it would have been nice to know that. We really liked our server, he was very kind but I won’t come here again- so many other restaurants we can choose to celebrate my dear friend’s birthday brunch that won’t leave you with an awkward feeling like you broke their rules. I can understand needing to turn the table, it was the delivery of the two hostesses that made us feel so awkward like we did something wrong. I want to make it clear that we were not sitting at an empty table, we were still enjoying our drinks (the waiter shouldn’t have let us order more drinks if they needed to turn the table)…extremely poor service with the hosting team there…This had a very LA/NY vibe and not the Austin I was born and raised in….

I have been a client of this restaurant for over 3 years now. So far, I had a great experience, great servers, good food and nice environment. But yesterday I had the worst experience that I ever had with a manager in a restaurant. I ordered online, but I need to make a change in my order (substitute chicken for steak on my tacos), they have done it several times before no questions asked, but this time the manager didn’t want to help me out, because steak it’s more expensive than chicken, an excuse than they never had tell me before. So, instead of trying to give me some kind of solution like charge me extra for the steak or something like that, she told me that she didn’t want to argue with me, and hang me up. The driver had to wait an hour to receive the order, and without knowing what was happening in my end, she told me they were very mean to her every time she asked for a ETA on my order. I called again to speak with the manager and she didn’t let me talk or try to listen to my complaints. She was yelling at me and hang me up 2 more times. The manager’s name is Mickey and she was working at the burnet road location around 4-5pm.
