Excellent pizza and the meat board was top-notch. Staff seems to enjoy being there and very helpful.

Had to re evaluate my review. Upon eating here again, all the “mains” were delicious. In addition to our 5 entrees we ordered 5 tiramisu’s to go. My husband had one bite and said he was done. I couldn’t believe him so I went for mine to prove him crazy. I’m not sure what the problem is but my guess is it’s very old. It was like sweetened condensed milk soup with hard cake chunks. I stopped eating and decided to call and see if maybe they were out of their freshness date and I should hold off giving the other 3 to my children. Only problem is there isn’t a phone number posted for this restaurant (that I can find). $40 of desserts in the trash because I can’t take a chance. If they are supposed to be watery, you might get a new recipe, they were awful.
First review: Delicious food! Only outshined by the incredibly kind staff, thank you!

I love Pieous! I've been a vegetarian for a while now and the variety of options can be limited, but the food is delicious. The veggie sandwich is killer and have no problem ordering it every time I go there.

Truly outstanding pizza! It was our first visit, and we actually drove almost an hour (we live in the boonies) to get to Pieous, because everything we heard about them was THAT stellar...and now we know why! We ordered the Margherita and the Brussels & Jam - fairly simple pies, so we could really see the exceptional quality of the ingredients shine through. It's obvious how much love and care they put into their food. And their staff is amazing! Also, plenty of vegetarian options . HIGHLY recommend.

Easily the best pizza in Austin metro. Beyond pizza, every food option is amazing - from breakfast, to wine and coffee and any other entree you will try, it's simply amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful and owners put a ton of care in making this place great. An awesome small business.

Funky but chic. Only had the pastrami and salad. It was quite good. Next time will try the Napolitano pizza

Everything at Pieous is made in house - mozzarella, pastries and desserts, breads etc. If you have any dietary restrictions - they can tell you exactly what is in the food. No seed oils either! Service was outstanding, and I even chatted with the owner for a while - and she was super nice!
We arrived around 10:30 so had a little time for a breakfast treat before we ordered lunch!
We started with a caramel bun - similar to cinnamon roll. The bun was delicious, soft but a little crunchy on the outside. We should have asked them to heat a little, but it was still great at room temp!
I got the two dark chocolate protein bars (one with pistachio) to take home. Bring a cooler..you will need it! The bars were also clean yet had about 20 grams of protein in them. I tried when we got home - and it was so good. I'm a dark chocolate fan, and this didn't disappoint. It had coconut in it - I happen to love coconut, but I know some don't including my husband! It didn't leave an aftertaste like many protein bars do - and also didn't have any of the additives either! Highly recommend!
They make their own mozzarella and I'm a sucker for that - so we started with the mozz salad - it had arugula, EVOO, fresh grape tomatoes, and their sourdough bread - thinly sliced (VERY thin!) that was toasted like a cracker. The mozzarella was amazing - and had great flavor while the arugula and tomatoes complimented it. My only suggestion - need more bread..and cut a tad thicker so I could load up and not have it break! 😂
Pizza: I usually just order cheese pizza to compare with other places, but the mushroom pizza and the white pizza were calling to us! They even use real Parmigiana Reggiano!
Mushroom pizza - very good, but I'd like less shrooms next time - it was hard to pick up because the shrooms made the pizza a little too moist!
White pizza - also very good, but a little less cheese would be better (my own taste).
Both aren't crispy crusts - but this style usually isn't crisp..it's more chewy. They use sourdough and it's got that little tang in the crust which gives it great flavor!
my husband got a tiramisu- also made in house - to go, but hasn't tried it yet! Looks good tho!!
All in all - would highly recommend- next time we go, it's for sandwiches and more mozzarella!

One of my favourite places to get pizza in Austin! I’ve been many times over the last 10 years and it’s always good; every time! The sourdough crust is my favourite feature of this amazing pizza! Go try the White Pie or classic Margarita asap!

Delicious pizzas and salads. They have a sourdough crust which is so tasty I eat all the bones with the salad! The current location is more spacious than their original location with plenty of parking and an outside play area shared with the adjacent restaurant. Plenty of beverage choices, alcoholic and non, including herbal tea for those of us who don't caffeinate late. A private room for meetings or parties, and plenty of outdoor shaded seating. The desserts are very rich, but worth the splurge.
