I am the person consistently ordering your Honey Pear pizza (without basil) biweekly on DoorDash. I was never quite sure where you were located and thought you might be a ghost kitchen located in a brewery. I was lucky enough to happen across the actual locale of my traveling pizzas with a pal and of course I dragged them with me to get it fresh from the source—after all, I’d already been sending photos and urging them to try.
This place was everything I could’ve dreamed of. Killer tunes (classic punk bangers—I’m talking Minor Threat, Descendents, and more), wide selection of beers, wines, and ciders, including nonalcoholic options (not just fountain drinks). They have a beautiful patio space out front with umbrellas for shade & water bowls for your furry friends. My friend looked at me weird when I asked for a large for us to split—then we downed it no problem. FANTASTIC flavor and crust, just perfect composition. I’ve never had a bad experience with the Honey Pear. It’s so good I’m afraid to try anything else. I love you guys. It’s been a rough couple weeks but you’re always there 💛

I was excited when my nephew chose this place for his 30th birthday gathering because it had been at least 4 years since my last visit. The Pinthouse team crushed it just like I remembered! Friendly and fast service. Amazing hospitality. Love this ATX Institution. My only wish is that Island Kitty would be available all year ❤️

If you’re looking for a bar experience with bartenders that care about their job, look somewhere else. The beer and food here is fantastic but the bartenders themselves do not care. If your aren’t a regular or asking for help with your hands raised like a kindergarten student you will not get served at the bar. The bartenders here would much rather be on their phone or make bad small talk with their regulars over creating regulars. As a manager of a bar, I would not tolerate the negligence at my bar. With going 20-30 minutes without being spoke to by a bartender that is abhorrent and not what any guests should expect. Been sitting with an empty beer for a long period of time never asked if I would like a water. Bartender clearly has zero passion even when I talked to them about beer, wine and even comics. Seems like your standard should be higher.

We’re big fans of Pinthouse! We proudly carry their award-winning beers in our bars, and when I’m at home with my family, we often order their pizzas and salads. The food is always excellent — I especially love the pepperoni pizza (loaded with pepperoni!), the salads, and the meatballs.
As someone in the restaurant business, I’d say I’m qualified to give a review — and this place truly delivers. Plus, the owners are fantastic people, which makes supporting them even better.

Was in town visiting family and stopped by for some pizza. Decent parking behind the building. Very clean atmosphere. Pretty simple menu with craft beer. Lots of employees taking orders, cleaning tables, and delivering food. Some free video games for the kids. We'd be back for sure.

Awesome spot, huge pizzas, salads, and appetizers! Great service and delish.
Only improvement is to install some outdoor fans or something for the flies in the summer.
It's a great spot to come grab a slice with homies. During UT game nights it actually gets quite packed, but the vibes are great. If you come with a large group you can even get a bunch of different kinds of pizzas and share family style. Overall cool spot

Pinthouse is easily in my Top 3 Pizzas of All Time. The pepperoni and basil is a MUST try for first timers. The service is usually pretty great but occasionally they are a tad slow, however on those occasions the team has been really great about communication for the delays. The atmosphere is fantastic. They do have TVs if you are looking to catch a game!

The Pepperoni & Basil and the Oo La La pizzas are absolute crowd-pleasers. Flavor-packed, crave-inducing, and somehow they’ll make your mouth water while you’re eating them. I’m a sauce guy, and they usually get it just right. Zesty enough to matter, but not soup-in-a-slice levels. Great job!
Now, about that crust. The big pizzas? Still a little floppy. They’ve got that satisfying outer crunch, but the larger slices tend to lose their structural integrity. Gravity wins. The medium size nailed the balance for us but it’s gone! But hey, I didn’t show up for a physics experiment. I came for carbs and beer.
And the beer? Phenomenal. Big rotating craft lineup, always something new, always something strong enough to trick you into ordering one more (beer)
Service is fast, even when it’s slammed. And it will be slammed. Just know that open seating means you may feel like you’re in a game of musical bench seats during peak hours. Oh, and it gets loud. Like “can’t-hear-your-date’s-opinion-on-crust-texture” loud. But that’s just the price of being popular.
Overall? Excellent pizza with interesting options and always amazing flavor. Delicious Beers (and wines and other stuff) for those that want drinks. Highly recommend this place!
