Pluckers Wing Bar

Im a regular. I LOVE pluckers, the food is amazing and usually the employees are so sweet, but today we had an older white guy with a beard who was genuinely so rude. I’ve never had a worse customer service experience and I work in the food industry so I know how hard it can be. The moment we sat down he was so short with us and condescending, we were so uncomfortable. The table next to us that he had also looked uncomfortable please fire this guy…

I met Christian at the gym first and he was just casually carrying around 45 lb plates like trays of food to train for his shift. That alone made me feel weak. Anyways, I had to see him in action so I went to Pluckers tonight

For context, I hate food. Like genuinely don’t care about eating and usually it’s just annoying. Somehow Christian made me like food again which is honestly concerning but impressive. His recommendations were so good and everything actually tasted amazing

He was also so kind to my family and just has this warm, calm energy that makes you feel comfortable right away. Not fake nice, just nice. He carries wings the same way he carries gym plates, effortlessly, which feels important to mention

If you get Christian as your server you already won. Would come back just to sit in his section again

Went in for my daughters birthday it was a party of 6 it took 45 min to get the order the food was cold i got bone in wings never got my carrots or celery that the waiter said came with the order Cesar salads were soggy and the lettuce was brown the waiter got lost so Couldn't even let her know to busy doing closing task I guess the guy was sweeping the rugs near our table like it dirt and dust don't rise there was little bugs flying around our food and table $153 including a $23 tip for trash won't be back if your sign says open til midnight then have some respect for your customers who are eating in but yes this is my review for PLUCKERS

When we were seated, our server, Regina, didn’t acknowledge us or even greet us. It felt like we had done something to upset her. She took our drink and food order, but when our food arrived, we needed utensils. Our server was on the other side of the restaurant by the bar, and when we tried to get her attention, she ignored us. After about ten minutes of trying to get her attention, we finally received our utensils. When I told her that my order was wrong and that I had asked for my food without any sauce because I don’t like spicy food, the only thing she said was, “That’s what you got,” and she didn’t look for any option to change my plate. I didn’t touch or eat the food—it stayed on the table—but she never asked if I wanted anything else. We asked her for another round of drinks, and she only brought drinks for my friends and completely ignored me. When I asked her about my drink, she told me that only my friends had asked for one, even though I clearly asked her as well. When we were leaving, I asked her for my receipt. I thought she had canceled the salad, but it was still on the receipt, and on top of that, she had added a 20% gratuity. That’s when I became even more upset. She never tried to find a solution, and she treated us very poorly during the entire hour we were there. She barely paid attention to us or served us at all. She was extremely rude.

I love the wings here which is why I return again and again. Service is good too. The part that sort of rubs me a weird way is that half of the restaurant is dedicated bar space with 50 TVs, they play all the sports… so why is everyone at my table being capped at 3 alcoholic beverages per person while being there for 2 hours, after eating 10 wings, fries, and an app? It was honestly an odd encounter for me. I’ve never been cut off from a bar before with a light buzz. I don’t know a single place in Austin doing this.

We had a wonderful meal! However we are regular Pluckers patrons, and they have decided to get rid of the Honey Mustard Dressing. That is only dressing my husband eats on the Buffalo Salad. So we will be eating here less. It is a shame.

Food took a long time. Found a hair in my salad. The salad was replaced but by the time it was replaced my party was done eating.
