I haven't been to Pok-e-Joe in years. Brisket was dry and lacked flavor, but everything else, including pork ribs, a beef sausage and sides was pretty good - just like I remember. The toasted slice of bread was extra tasty.

We placed a big $200 Order #: 1075449855 for Thanksgiving. Everything was good except for the brisket. It was inedible, completely tough and seemed to be cooked quickly. $29 a pound and we bought 2. I would like to have a credit for this as we couldn't eat it

Good barbecue first time I ever ate there and the service. The people that cook there and the people that wait on you are wonderful people. The food was outstanding. I had the best barbecue brisket sandwich I ever had and I had some wonderful homemade potato salad that was to die for and I had a huge Coke. All you can drink and then they had a fix-ins bar where you could get several kinds of pickles. A couple different kinds of salsa. They had two kinds of cut up onions for you and then they had three different barbecue sauces. Okay from regular to medium to hot barbecue sauces okay self-serve absolute wonderful time. Wonderful lunch I had and the manager came over and spoke to me. Got to know him. I believe his name was Eric. I don't know but he's from the Midwest like me and he relocated down to the Austin area as well. I highly recommend this place for the best. Barbecue in the area in my opinion. Very good! Wonderful! This was absolutely a wonderful experience. The food was great and the staff amazing. Kim and Steve (with the beard..smiling) were so friendly. The manager even speaks to you and he ensures you are enjoying the food and visit. Kim is also sponsoring an event in which she is helping collect items for pets. 5 star plus in my opinion. The location by Sea Bass next to CAR rental.Price was great and for what you receive I was shocked. Thanks again everyone this is Sue.

This Pok-eJjo's on Parmer is my favorite. I usually get the three meat plate. I love the brisket, pork ribs, turkey, chicken and sausage. It's all Delicious here !! And didn't pass on that Texas Toast. Mmm mmm 😋
I usually prefer pokejos over any other barbecue restaurant due to their lean brisket being melt in your mouth deliciousness. I was sorely disappointed tonight. I could hardly cut my extra lean brisket with a knife. It was extremely tough tonight.

Hosted a private Event at the Palmer Lane location. For those that don’t know, they have a great sized room for small parties. From the moment of planning, to day of the event the staff was beyond incredible in all aspects. The food was abundant and fresh and hot, and delicious. Whatever we needed the staff was on it. The customer service was through the roof. Thank you all for a great night, you made everything so easy! I highly recommend everyone eat at this location, 10/10
