Where are ya’ll at?? The food is delicious as always! The service was on point! I’m so glad the Barton Creek restaurant is open and I can’t believe I didn’t get here sooner!

My husband and I were looking for a breakfast place. By the time we actually made it out of the house it was more like lunch time. We came to Polvos in Barton Creek Square Mall because we saw it couple of times on our shopping trips to the Saturday farmer market. It was 11:30am when we came in and there were maybe three tables occupied. The waitress gave us a lunch menu (but later when we mentioned that we stumbled onto this place in search of breakfast she told us that they serve breakfast as well). We had ‘Cocktail Merisco’ and ‘Phalla’s salad with fajita chicken’ and both were very tasty. Our waitress, Miriam, was very courteous, checked on us couple of times, but was not overbearing. This unexpected find will be on our list of ‘to go to’ restaurants.

The food is good, but the service very bad. We arrived and the restaurant was practically alone. There were very few people. Our waitress took a long time to come to our table. To take the order anyway. He left us our food and never came to see what we were missing. We had to talk to him to get Kos to bring cookies and toast for my ceviche. To pay we had to get up from our table because she was sitting down.

Restaurant was pretty empty. Area they sat us at had 4 tables occupied 3 wait staff and still our waitress could not even come to our table to fill our drinks… could see her sitting at the bar area…Pretty dissapointed in food quality and service from our last visit… won’t be back…

The food was just ok. Salsas good but my meal, which included vegetables was very heavy mushrooms. Would not really assume mushrooms go with Mexican food or would not have ordered. Oh well, lesson learned.

Must visit place... Great tex mex restaurant and I visited the one near barton creek mall the atmosphere and ambience is great and salsa bar and chips are so good and especially chicken enchiladas & Poblano enchiladas with Caliente sauce is so good and spicy... Staff were very helpful and great service.
Vegetarian options: Checkout Veg enchiladas and it has many options like poblano enchiladas, cheese enchiladas, Veggie Enchiladas

Wants to pass as a fancy place. The food is very expensive.
We got seated and got water and chips and then no one came and take our order. Waited 20 minutes then waved down a waiter but he said “I am not your waiter let me get them” and then 10 more minutes nothing. Walked out in the end.
