For the price, P-Terry’s is way better value and Hopdoddy is a better burger and vibe. I feel like I overpay here for what I get. The fries are meh. Cool vibes in the courtyard though 👍. Parking sucks. 😤

Pool Burger is hands down my favorite burger spot in Austin right now. I’ve been once in person and ordered it on DoorDash three times—it’s that good. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and satisfying.
My go-to is The Loyal—the balance of ingredients is just right. My son and I also really like the Pool Dog. It’s simple, tasty, and hits the spot every time. The quality holds up even on delivery, which says a lot.
I’ll keep going back until I get tired of it or discover another place that can top it, but so far, nothing has. Highly recommend.

Came for a refreshing drink on a hot day after a swim around 2pm. No response to our smiley hello upon arrival from the staff who then proceeded to be very rude rolling their eyes when we ordered soft drinks. Made us feel like we were taking too long to order by blatantly sighing (there were no other customers). None of the people working there seem happy to be there, quite the opposite, and seem to want to take their anger out on their customers… The type of place you really regret giving your money to.

Been here 100 times because it’s pretty good, today they wouldn’t let me drink my own water in the restaurant. Also all their meat is frozen.

Cool location and the restaurant had a cool design and nice atmosphere. There was a great DJ when I was there. The frozen drink was also really good.
However, the food was really pricey for its quality. Just a basic 1/4 lb cheeseburger and small fries was $15.50. The burger was decent, but not served warm and not quite as good as P-Terrys or In and Out for double the price without tip. Service was also not great and seemed frustrated from a simple question I asked. Would also appreciate if the water stations had a better option than tiny single use plastics cups. It felt both wasteful and inadequate.
Overall I would recommend Pool burger for a drink after a swim at deep eddys, but not much else.
