To the Popeyes at 2320 Riverside Drive in Austin, TX: I have been coming to your drive thru for the past several months. Every single time I have gone, they claim the credit card machine is down & that they can only accept cash. The most recent time (tonight), I confronted the cashier about this issue & had to pull off to go to an ATM. Everything tasted like old grease. when I spoke to the shift leader she was very nice made a phone call then told me the GM would refund my card in the morning. I never got a call or saw the refund. When I spoke to the GM he was Extremely argumentative and told me it was NOT his problem because I didn't speak to him. He said it was the shift leader I spoke to problem. Horrible experience. I will never go into this Popeye’s location ever again. Disgusting, dirty, horrible service inside. Most of the people in there were either on drugs or insane. Half the sodas were out, no lids. All they care about is the drive-thru, no desire to take care of things in the dining area. I tried to find some water to clean the mess & dried catsup off my table, but there was some homeless guy in the bathroom with his dog (yes, dog in the restaurant).
