We went for my daughter's birthday and we're totally blown away!! It is a picture perfect place but NO PHONES ALLOWED!! The fries were the best! The fried chicken was different. More chili powder forward and needed some salt. We were going to dinner so we didn't eat much. The drinks were great! We did two rounds. French 75, lemon drop martini and dirty martini. We also had a complimentary glass of champagne for her birthday which we thought was a nice choice!!!
I didn't eat there, only had drinks. The drink was ok but expensive. Wasn't really feeling the DJ but Overall It was a nice vibe and great ambiance.
This is a great spot for quiet drinks and happy hour on the early side! Love it! The service is always on point and the food/drinks are delicious!
Great vibes and drinks, went there after eating sushi to enjoy a classic vibe and was not let down.
Celebrated my birthday at the Powder Room. Service was excellent and the place was cozy and festive.
The DJ stole the show. Loved his music style and accompaniment of his guitar. Class act. Food was a bit pricey but tasty. Wish we had option to reserve a table back to back or just a little longer than 90 min. We were spending money but didn't want to have to move to standing by bar.
The place has amazing interiors and I love that they take your phone away so you can really engage with whomever you are with. That said, it is a bit pretentious, drinks are overpriced, music is unnecessarily loud for a weekday happy hour crowd. Our server was wonderful and kind, as was the hostess, but the rest of the staff was quite uppity. Worth a visit, especially if you are a fan of interesting interiors, but I feel no need to return.
Not for me. Thought this was a relaxing lounge from the pictures but that was not the case. It was terribly crowded, and drinks weren't great. Powder Room has nothing to special to offer and therefore nothing to warrant a return.
What an amazing vibe the powder room has made me feel like we were in a old jazz lounge. We're definitely come here again!
Powder Room met our expectations and was such as nice place! The staff was very friendly and the drinks were amazing. The locking of cell phones is a great idea to promote engaging with friends, but the music was loud so kind of hindered that. Other than that, place was great and I encourage all to visit! Live music was excellent.

Love the vibe and energy of powder room and definitely will be coming back! I do think the drinks are slightly overpriced for what you get, but I guess that's just how most cocktail bars are. The biggest caveat for me is if you come on a weekend, the music can be distractingly loud and for a place that encourages you to live in the moment and with your friends, it would be nice to be able to hear what they're saying.
My new favorite spot in austin. Incredible ambiance, music/DJ (Sinclair guy) was out of this world, service was top tier (Emily, Shawna, Adam), so much fun. Originally came for 1 drink after dinner and stayed for hours, this will be our go-to place now. Love you guys!

I can't rate the food since we only went to the bar. Good drinks, good atmosphere and great service.
Awesome hidden gem. Great atmosphere and perfect drinks! My old fashions were delicious. It might take a minute to get used to the no phone rule, but it fosters great conversations. Will definitely be back!

Service here cannot be beat. The GM and Head of Security are professional and the ladies managing the inside are very sweet. Great drinks and atmosphere, check it out if you're in Austin
