President's House is the Omni’s coffee shop, and with that comes an implicit tradeoff: overpriced mediocrity in exchange for convenience. Measured against that standard, President’s House acquitted itself well. I stopped here once for lunch and once for breakfast and found a decent selection both times. They have plenty of coffee drinks, of course, but also pastries, sandwiches, bowls, and more.

What made this such a fantastic coffee house was/is “Andy,” the customer service person who attended to me. Kind, respectful and professional. Overall it made my Omni hotel experience one of the best I’ve ever had.

This was the only coffeehouse in Austin we went to besides Starbucks that had skim milk which is a necessity in my wife’s book. It’s inside of the hotel and the vibe and design is really cool. The seats were a little uncomfortable. I had there drink of the month which was an iced Wild Peach latte and I really liked it. It almost tasted like a milkshake.
