I'm PISSED this place is closing!!! Tell us where you go, Prohibition because I will follow you to the ends of the earth. The ice cream is freaking delicious and the choices are so fun! Go here before next week to support them!

Broken hearted they are closing January 17! This place is wonderful. So unique! An absolute treat! Support local - maybe they will come back after Covid

Had to come check this place out before it closes later this month. We really enjoyed the idea behind the boozy ice creams! I opted for the bourbon shake with bourbon whipped cream on top. Even eating this outside on their back patio in the chilly weather nonetheless, it was satisfying. I'm sure this is really something else during the summer-fall. Looking forward to the new Prohibition Creamery, wherever and whenever that may be!

Very disappointing. Visiting Austin- chose it for dessert over all the options in town.. checked reviews.. checked hours. Arrived at 10:30- supposed to be open until 11:00 specifically Sunday 11 pm. They were still bringing in porch chairs etc. but guy says, "sorry we're closed." Seriously? You couldn't scoop 2 scoops of ice cream when you are still there and your website still says closes 11 pm? Lights were still on.. looked completely open to me.... Bummer.

This bar turned icecream place was close to the place I was staying so decided to visit after an evening stroll, not a high quality icecream place but hats off to ownership for entrepreneurial thinking that during during covid you keep your doors open. Support your local business when you can!!

They flavors were really good and really Boozy. We had their magic sauce too that hardens and that was definitely worth it.

Smells great as soon as you walk in the door, followed only by a good treat with benefits.

Serving up tasty and boozy ice cream treats. Pumpkin Spice cones, Pumpkin Spice Sundaes, and Pumpkin Spice Whipped Cream! Cones are filled with scoops of Vietnamese Coffee (tastes like a pumpkin spice latte with the whip on top) and Cheesecake ice cream!

This place is a must for us every time we visit Austin. My husband just loves the Potter Pecan. Their customer service is equally amazing. Till next time!

I've only tried one thing so far-their dark chocolate sorbet-amazing!! Please offer more diverse non dairy flavors, a lot of us are lactose intolerant.

It was a place in my list for a long time and boy, it did not disappoint!Located in the hot and trendy EastSide, you feel like you are stepping into another time period and expect to meet some gentleman in tuxedo smoking cigars or ladies dancing Charleston. The atmosphere is great, the menu offers a variety of ice cream desserts : sundaes, milkshakes, floats or just scoops with boozy toppings. They have a seasonal flavor, this month's flavor is prickly pear Mezcal sorbet. They also have great cocktails if you are not feeling like having a sweet tooth. We had the Irish coffee and 2 scoops of Pecan buttered Rum and whiskey chocolate with boozy brownie bites. So delicious! This is definetely a great spot where I can gladly/proudly take friends and family visiting from out of town!

Had some wonderful ice cream here. The liquor infused chocolate is very dark and chocolatey, delicious but strong. The buttered rum is very mild and very good. Red velvet cbd is delicious but on the sweet side. Overall enjoyed every bite!

I honestly didn't realize this was a boozy ice cream shop until I entered to this home across from the cemetery. Once you enter it's a bar! From boozy ice cream to unique shots and drinks, they have it all. Along with a few non-alcoholic ice cream selection and more variety of shakes and toppings. Parking is on the side of the road.I got the chocolate whiskey and bourbon pecan. That chocolate is strong! My boyfriend liked it very much, I preferred the bourbon pecan. It screams fall and on top of that there was just a touch of bourbon flavor that wasn't too overwhelming. Staff are hospitable and very helpful when deciding. You may seat yourself inside or outside. Be careful with the mosquitoes if you're outside. I didn't realize but they sneak up on you. I'd definitely come back here again. Aside from the cemetery being across the lot, I enjoyed the atmosphere and product.
