The decoration of the coffee shop is very good, the interior is bright, and the seats are both at the bar and at the dining table, both indoors and outdoors. The coffee itself is okay, but the portion size is very sincere, a very large cup. I would like to try the main meal next time I come. The only drawback is that the environment in the store is noisy and the music is played very loudly. If you want to work quietly, it is not recommended.

Proud Mary outside of Melbourne?! Yes please! Really wonder to find in Austin! Well worth the drive out of the downtown core. As always, superb roasts. Oh, and the avo toast is to die for.

Best pourover in Austin, no doubt. I have visited twice and neither disappointed. I would describe this place as a modern scratch diner with an incredible coffee bar. Their selection of Geisha coffee (IYKYK) is worth a visit on its own. I’ve been there during weekdays, once around 7:30a and the other around 10:30a and there was no wait either visit, though I’m sure on the weekend it’s crazy busy.
Will definitely be back soon.
Parking: A few out front free spots and then about 20 paid spots adjacent.

Saw sign, voted best coffee shop in Austin, ordered a Matcha Latte - $10 with higher quality nut-milk ... and then surprised, shocked, to receive a tiny little 8 oz cup!? Thats ridiculous - anywhere else is $6 for a 12 or 16 oz., nutmilk included.
Id never return for such price-gouging! And it tasted just like any other Matcha!

Stopped in here on a business trip and was extremely impressed. The coffee here is outstanding, especially the nitro cold brew. I sat at the bar and the baristas were friendly and I really appreciated the level of service and hospitality from everyone who worked here. This place rules!

One of the standout features is their espresso selection - you can choose the country of origin, with detailed cards providing background on the coffee, sometimes even featuring the farmers behind it. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes the experience more personal.
The interior strikes a perfect balance between modern and nostalgic, with a record player, vinyls, and vintage speakers adding character. The open kitchen and large coffee machines create an engaging, dynamic space that feels both lively and welcoming. Unlike many coffee shops, Proud Mary offers a full kitchen with an interesting menu, making it a great place not just for coffee but for a proper meal.
With plenty of indoor seating, lots of greenery, and a few tables outside, there’s room to either take a quick break or settle in and work for a while. The friendly staff and the presence of a full bar add even more to the appeal.
Overall, it’s a well-designed space with high-quality coffee, great food, and a relaxed yet vibrant vibe. Highly recommended!

I attempted to dine at Proud Mary and the hostess was insensitive to my physical condition. After being brought to a seating area with a backless chair, I asked if I could be seated at a table with a chair with a back because I have a lower back issue. She told me I could swap chairs with another table and then walked off. Very unaccommodating for someone with a chronic physical injury.
